Why are people like this never banned?
Do the devs ever even bother doing anything about these kinds of players? I've been playing since patch 2.8.0 and people like this have always been around and been frustrating. I don't think a single thing has been done by the devs since I started playing to punish or discourage people from playing like this. I understand DBD can be a pretty toxic game and its just kinda accepted by the community, but their comes a point when it just starts being frustrating as all hell and I wish the devs would a put a little more effort into punishing people who do stuff like this. The same goes for leavers and with the DC penalty gone at the moment people are DCing more than ever. Am I the only who feels this way or does anyone else feel the same way?
Side note, this was a solo game and I wasn't tea bagging or being toxic. I almost have a 1000 hours in the game at this point so I can assure you this isn't my first time encountering people working together just at a point where I've had enough of people leaving and teamming and ruining the game for the rest of us, as killers or survivors.

if this is bannable then tbagging should be bannable

No point in complaining here.
People will say it is a "valid strategy".
Or, they will say that this Plague probably got bullied in a previous game and there is no way that the person can be such a guy on its own.
Sadly, there are people like this in the game. The best thing is to just ignore them as good as possible, yes, it sucks, but there is no point in ranting in the Postgame Chat, they wont change their behavior, they will not suddenly think "Oh right, I AM a dick". Just leave after you are dead and go into the next game, luckily players like that are quite rare.
EDIT: I just saw that the same Jeff was standing there the whole time. If they were teaming, you should report both of them - this is a bannable offense.
24 -
Team with killer is reportable.
13 -
I don't want to say the behaviour of the killer is okay, but if you brought the key into the round, then im not surprised in the slightest to be honest.
You have 1000 hours so im pretty sure you know how much keys are hated in this game and some people will show you like that how much they hate it without a doubt.
Especially if you equipped it in the last seconds before the match loaded in.
15 -
You can report them for teaming and make a ticket on forum with video evidence
5 -
I know what you mean about keys lol. I had the escape with 2 ultra rare challenge and only had keys. Never been so tunnelled in all my time playing this game.

You've just posted screenshots of the Plague using her power in a way it's intended to be used. I'm assuming you're talking about camping but your screenshots don't illustrate that.
Camping is a valid tactic anyway. Just as much as genrushing and teabagging. It's not a nice tactic, you can call it toxic if you like and you might not be wrong (depending on the details), but it's not bannable.
EDIT: Ah I get you now. I genuinely thought that Jeff in the first pic was hooked. Now I see that what you're talking about isn't camping at all it's survivors and killers working together. You might want to actually mention that in your post.
11 -
Come on, she was puking on them on the Hook, while they were already infected. This is BMing, not "using her power in a way its intended to be used".
I hope you are not mad at Survivors teabagging you, in the end, they are just using the Crouch-Button "in a way its intended to be used".
6 -
Yeah, evertime one of my survivor mates has a key, im honestly thinking about telling them, that they should not bring the key, unless they want to get camped or tunneled. It's the same everytime.
1 -
If she wasn't infected, then that's absolutely using her power the way it's intended. That's how you infect people.
Either way, puking on people still isn't bannable, and if you look at my edit above...
4 -
If survivors are working with the killer, that is reportable and bannable. Record, send an in-game report, then send in a support ticket with the recording.

I do not care if the Plague got bullied in her previous game. Two wrong do not make a right.
Question is what was the Plague trying to archive here. From my perspective this looks like she was camping the Key because otherwise it would be 2 escapes: The other survivor gets the unhook and both can escape through the hatch. So what else should the Plague do to prevent that. This could be a valid tactic. Could. However...
...then there is this. Straight up. Teaming up with the Killer is reportable for a good reason, it is disgusting and the person should suffer for that.
Problem is that you can use family share to still play off your DLCs and so on. A problem I encountered in Dark Souls 3 for the first time. People would cheat, get banned and just abuse family share to still play the game. Yes the lose their save data but that can be fixed by cheating again. It is not a problem unique to DbD it is a problem for every multiplayer PVP Steam game...sadly.
Btw love the survivor build. Mine is pretty much the same as I like Deceisive Strike and Deliverance after the nerf of DS. Also Borrow Time is a must. I just add We are gonna live forever for less grind. Love it.

But OP was. And even if, you just have to puke one time and not standing in front of the Hook, constantly puking. This is not using the power as intended.
And according to the Edit, I also did not notice that they were working together.
2 -
I found it, I found the key in the picture, what do I win ?
4 -
Well. You deserve it with key. Facecamping isn't bannable offense, so isn't camping and tunneling. Move on to next game.
3 -
- Keys are available in bloodweb
- Killer now can close the hatch and start EGC that a remanining survivor has no chances of escaping
- Survivor brings a key to ensure there is a chance to escape even if everybody else dies and the Killer finds the hatch first
- "You deserve being BMed! Screw you for trying to use a game element as intended!"
Lmao.
8 -
It's just the killer equivalent of t bagging or flashlight clicking so I offer you the same advice survivors offer killers who complain about that:
Just grow a thicker skin lol
2 -
Well while we are talking about keys when I tunnel and camp the key survivor out that is also "using a game element as intended"
Lmao.
0 -
Weird because I can most of the times escape trhough gate when killer closes hatch.
Yeah you get keys from bloodweb and can bring them but don't wonder if you get killed and not gonna get use that key.

If this is bannable then make pallet dropping bannable LUL
Nice bait btw
1 -
puking on people still isn't bannable
3 -
I dont know what im looking at, how do you know they were "teaming" tigether?
I just had a game where i hooked steve. The game was over even with 3 survivirs and they knew it. I wanted to chase nea cause she was actually good and leon is 4 feet away trolling steve by pretending he was going to unhook while nea is looping me near steve. I bet steve thought we were working together too.
Of course i left nea and downed leon and shook my head no at him then killed him, but still bet steve wasnt happy with us
1 -
Well someone is quick to make this a “us vs them” argument. Teaming is a bannable offense.
0 -
Puking on someone thats on hook isnt bannable anymore than tbagging or flashlight clicking is. Come on aven, i know youre a survivor main but youre smarter/better than this
3 -
Teaming is bannable yes, the pics dont show that though 🤷♂️

Trying to tell a story from a screenshot isn't conclusive - this post could be about hard camping, it could be about teaming (doubtful because Jeff is on the first hook) it could be about survivors not helping. Without more clarification than that it's hard to tell what's going on.
Teaming - this is reportable, video evidence would be required (as you can see, screenshot evidence is far from conclusive)
Camping - not reportable
Team mates not saving/helping - not reportable, a survivor can play selfishly if they desire
Those are pretty much the scenarios that I can tell from the screenshots/post.
15 -
I did not say it was bannable, lol. I said it is BMing, and you cannot really argue with that. It is roughly the same as teabagging. And it is certainly not "using the power as intended".
0 -
Fair play, i misread you. Yes agree its bm.
I dont mind it or tbagging though 🤷♂️

I think salty killers should be banned you are right.
0 -
And salty survivors. Then we'd literally have a game where nobody plays. It'd be awesome!!!!
3 -
but what about salty survivors should they be banned too?
0 -
some of them should be banned
1 -
Well, good luck escaping when gates spawn in a walking distance from each other or there is a fast-moving/teleporting Killer.
I get why Killers would target a survivor with a key and try to kill them first: if they find a spawned hatch before all gens are done, the entire squad can escape. I get it that you may not get to use the key, the same thing can be said for almost any item you bring to the trial. What I don't get is being extremely toxic to a survivor with a key, like they're a hacker or a rule-breaker. There is a difference between "get ready to be targeted because the killer won't take any chances" and "get ready to be spat on for taking an in-game item"

OP is talking about teaming with killer not the camping
1 -
It's stupid, not reportable.
I think we all hit that match from time to time where the killer just acts... a little TOO off, even for our little murder simulation.
When killers just keep hitting me on the hook, I assume it's a kid of something. Maybe someone that hasn't played much, but it definitely feels immature (again, as I play my pretend-murder game, I guess??).
Anyway, usually just move on to the next match and shake my head at how sage and mature I am compared to that jackass.

Here we go again...

There's a lesson in here about burying the actual complaint in the last paragraph of your post, but the last paragraph does say the complaint is the teaming.

It’s awful I know. Only in dbd can one cranky player take the entire game hostage, and feel entitled to do so. All survivors feel this way but sadly, this is a killer main forum so you’ll likely be attacked for even saying anything about killer play styles. I get it though,

Report and move on, you aren't entitled to know if/when someone is disciplined.
