Missing a skillcheck when struggling on the hook makes you die faster?

I was wondering… since I never heard anyone talking about this

    It will draining the bar by a few seconds, usually after missing 3 skill checks it's a sacrifice.

    If you miss one skill check when the skill check bar is small, you will get a few seconds to be saved from the hook.

    Yup. Missing the skill checks during struggle will lower your timer a bit until you die or are saved.

    If you leave your skillcheck run out it's only 2 and you die immediately
