This game has become a 1v1
For this if you who think this game is a 4v1 you are incorrect.
this has happened in 75% of my games today
dont get me wrong the games start out as a 4v1 but once the killer finds the first survivor the real game starts.
The two of them just battle it out till the rest of survivors finish the gens.
l dunno l guess tunneling for a 1k is now a win in most killers books.

Apparently tunneling is a valid strategy and fun for the killer even if it's not fun for the survivor.

Yeah because gens fly by in a game with decent survivors. If you want the killer to do a true 4v1 they need the actual time to do that.
If in 1 kill all the gens are done, while tunneling to get a kill asap, what makes you think they'll be able to go after 3 more?
It's not a "win" its just all they had time for.
I understand the frustration. There's plenty of survivor games for me where I don't really interact with the killer because in 1 chase 3 gens got done, 2-3 more and the gates are powered. So essentially waited in a long que just to hold M1 for a few minuets and maybe get some saves.
But unless survivors are planning to slow down their gen times or killer's willing to throw I'm not sure what you want to happen.

Plenty of people on this forum have justified tunneling by saying that the killer might find that fun.

You can blame the gen speed for it. If the killer would get actually more than 3 or 4 hooks by the time all gens are completed, then there would be less tunneling.

Trust me, people will keep doing the easiest way for 4k. They dont care about hook. Increase Gen time, 2nd objective or whatever would just make 4k easier, its rare to find a fair play killer.

That's pretty much DBD, it's always been like that. Loop the killer while others do gens. Where the hell did other people get a different objective from? Can I play that dbd?

The game usually ends for me when there is one gen left. I refuse to take all the risk and finish the last gen while all three wait for someone else to do it, only for them to let me die on my first hook without even trying against a killer that doesn't have NOED.

I tunnel when the survivor has gone out of his way to be a jerk in the game. no real reason to be that way. I run into jerks in this game ALL the time...then they send messages like "why are you being toxic?" well, cause you're being a dick.

Before Undying was nerfed, survivors greatest complaint was that killers get handed ez wins because of Undying Ruin.
They didn´t complain about camping killers.
They didn´t complain about tunneling killers.
They complained about being "forced" to do something else than gens.
So, its save to say, that given more time by an additional objective, killers will take their time.

yeah like if 3 gens go off when I only have 1 hook then I'm just camping because what's the point.
How am I suppose to pressure gens now?

There's no other way.
I even open the gate for the gen rushers. No point in sticking around more than necessary.
You want a fast match during an event? Enjoy minimum base bloodpoints!

Thats because the gens happen too fast. Let's say that survivor the killer is chasing, doesn't loop anything, they don't vault windows, they don't drop pallets, they just hold w in a run in the opposite direction of the killer.
How long do you think it takes for the killer to down that survivor? Just take a guess.
20 seconds?
Maybe 30?
The answer is 48 seconds. It takes 48 seconds to down that survivor.
Now factor in picking that survivor up, finding a hook, slowly walking to it, then hooking them. By the time you get your bearings and decide where to go, you probably just spend close to 70-80 seconds.
You just lost 3 gens.

Ruin / Tinkerer / Undying were absolute op back then.
Im a Small game user. I have no problems at doing totems, If Undying works like this "do all totems before doing Gen", Im fine with it. But old Undying leave no option to even do totem safely.

See? A killer who goes for the almost completed gens isn´t tunneling and he isn´t camping.
