Pets in Dead by Daylight?
So, I had this crazy dream that I think will actually be a cool idea for the game - let me know what you think! Pets in Dead by Daylight. I dreamt that survivors could have pets and they could help distract the killer or defend the survivor from being hooked. I dreamt survivors had dogs as a pet, but I think it could work with cats or maybe a crow! Dogs could bark at the killer to mask other sounds, try to bite at the killer to delay the killer from hooking, they could find items survivors dropped, and so on.
Killers can negate the effects of the pet by throwing a stick or ball, or something like that. Maybe an add-on could make the pet less useful. "Pet treats"
It could be an extremely rare add-on. Think of all of the cosmetics they could have!
Not sure if it could ever work in game - just wanted to share the dream!

A double standard but I'd never touch this game again if they introduced animal killing mechanics, I can't bear to see animals being tortured, especially because I have 5 in total myself.

- Pets would be silly. They don't fit in.
- They would be OP in some situations
- I would never play again, if I had to kick a dog or cat.

I would love this as long as the animals don’t get hurt. I have a dog myself named Pluto and I love animals so please make it where they don’t get hurt.

Not sure if that would work it might be creating too many new assets for something with questionable effectiveness and not everyone would use but along the same vein I do think crows are an underutilized resource for new perks so I'd like them to try and bring them into the game a bit more so maybe one day we could have birb builds.

Yah, as long as pets were a cosmetic and didn't effect the game in anyway I would be okay with it.
Also would be nice to be able to toggle them off for players who wouldn't want to see a zoo running around ^^"
