ideas to reduce BP & Prestige grind
It's not news that grind is a problem, or that prestiging characters is objectively not worth it anymore, and it's only getting worse and worse as 2 or 3 new characters along with 6 or 9 new perks are regularly added to the game. So here's a few ideas about grind and prestige (some of them are not meant to co-exist)
Reduce the grind:
- Change the 1M BP cap: in a couple of chapters 1M is going to be barely enough to reach a character's teachable perks and is simply not enough anymore, make it 3M or something so players can save up enough BPs before a new chapter
- Make all T1 perks available by default so the player only has to grind T2 and T3 perks, which would reduce the grind by a third
- Delete perk tiers so the player only has to grind the perks once, which would reduce the grind by two thirds
Make Prestige worth it:
- It is known that the "bloodweb advantages" supposedly granted after prestiging a character are non-existent so uh fix that
- Make it so that the items cost less after prestiging
- Make the player gain iridescent shards for each prestige state, (P1= 200, P2=300 & P3=500 for example)

i don't wanna put anyone down, but the simple solution is to just increase blood point gain as the grind is not as intolerable as people make it seem.

Yeah of course I should have included that lol, but it would still be useless regarding saving up BPs for a new chapter if the cap isn't increased tho

I'm not sure i understand this right, does this mean the banned perks are automatically unlocked for everyone or is it for perks you hate and don't want to use ever ?
Regardless it's a cool idea but it wouldn't reduce the grind by much on its own tbh, as the player would still have to grind 3 tiers of all base perks + 3 tiers of 2/3 of the teachable perks
