Flashing/flickering screen on PS5 and PS4
Platform: PS5 (and PS4)
Description: Screen keeps flashing on all maps (although I never noticed it on The Game map). It seems worse on open maps. Only stated happening from the Resident Evil patch.
Steps to reproduce: Play any open map as survivor or killer. Alternatively, look for any Twitch streamers that are playing on PS5 and you should be able to see it if the quality is high enough.
How often does it occur: flashes are intermittant but this happens most of the way through the game.
Edited the title to show that this is affecting PS4 players as well as PS5 players

Yep, constant flickering, and it wasn''t before the update either.

+1 flickering environment is kinda distracting. Sometimes I think someone is behind me with a torch but it happens all the time.

It also happened to me while playing as a killer, but I'm on PS4.

I don't know if this meant this issue was supposed to be fixed in 5.0.2:
- Fixed an issue that could cause a global flicker in the environment while moving around the maps.
I've just played the Coldwind Farm map and the flickering has NOT gone away.

Happening to me all the time on PS5 since the resident evil update. Latest update hasn't fixed this issue.

I want to add onto this discussion that this same issue is happening on the Steam side.
Maps, like Gas Haven and Swamp, constantly has this issue where the lighting flickers and I have to adjust quality settings to make it stop.

Yes and no. It's really random when the FPS drops occurs, but from what I've researched on my end--it's an issue with a lighting source in UE4 Engine. I think our issues might be a bit different, but I'll try to provide a video later on when I can do a custom game.

Updated UE in update 5.0? Before doesnt have the light problem. This problem has been around for a long time. And the old bugs always come back in every update.

Update 5.1.0 says "Fixed an issue that caused some environment flickering while moving around certain maps."
Certain maps? This was a problem on ALL maps (at least it was after 5.0.2). Also it didn't mention it a PS4/PS5 only issue. I really hope this has gone for good.
