4 cakes, killer brings nothing and tunnels

...i had these kind of matches too often. I'm tired of bringing something that lets others profit and me or someone else ends the match with 10k points because the killer tunnels someone out at 4 gens with ruin still alive. I don't get it, the grind is hard for everyone, it's like 2 weeks where we all could stop tryharding and sweating and just try to max out points for everyone. The few killer matches i had i did exactly this, i made sure that everyone has enough time to get into points and if i dominated hard, i gave hatch or gate to people who found the crown. I don't expect killers to follow my example but at least play a little bit more chill, youre not alone on this planet...

And what about normal survivors? We can’t generalise survivors but not killers

I had a game where someone with a Bloody Party Streamer DC'ed instantly when we loaded in on Red Forest. Second person DC'ed after getting hit with Legion's frenzy. The killer slugged the other person, and then downed and slugged me. Put her in the basement, put me in the basement, and proceeded to stab me on the hook until the entity ended our misery.

This is why I'm not bringing any cakes. I'm not going to reward killers who have a much easier time during this event anyway.

Your daily reminder that you're the one expecting the Killer to suspend the normal rules of play because you brought an item. The Killer is not being 'toxic' and 'mean' for wanting to play normally.

This goes in reverse as well; if a Killer brings a cake & Survivors want to 'genrush'; they are just playing the game as it's currently meant to be played.

Neither side is beholden to follow made up rules just because their opponent wants them to. And I'm tired of getting screeched at in end game chat because someone believes 'cake = don't try' is a rule you can be reported for breaking.

If you bring an item/offering; it's on YOU to get the most out of it in the normal gameplay loop. It is not your opponent's job to suddenly stop trying, just because you say so.

Nobody is under any obligation to play how you want regardless of the offerings brought or not

The sooner you realize that and accept it, the less frustrating multiplayer gaming is in general.

Four offerings, a person still DC's, and the killer still has to camp and tunnel. I'm literally not using any cakes the rest of this event. Characters that are going to get prestiged will just lose their cakes. I'm not rewarding this kinda stuff anymore.

To be fair the DC after the legion hit might have been a crash. But yeah thats just bad luck.

Also, to be fair, the killer might have been mad that the game became a waste. But who knows, sorry for your experience

    Both sides do it

I think the person who DC'ed immediately was a crash - she brought the streamers. I think the second was just done with a DC and a Legion.

I could see the killer just wanting to move on to the next game if he hadn't repeatedly hit us on the hook. That's not just wanting to go on to the next game. We aren't the ones who DCed, and the other person even brought an offering. I've purposely died to EGC when killers are nice and let the two people who don't DC farm and get an easy escape. Why shouldn't the killer get at least one kill when two people had tantrums and quit and the killer was nice and let us make the most of it? This wasn't any of that.

If a killer does not bring a cake offering, then expect them to not care and want to end the match quickly. If they do then what I noticed in most likely they will care. Same thing with survivors.

There is a difference between not trying and playing normally so everyone can get some points - especially if you have some game sense, you can feel how the game goes as killer. If i have already 5 hooks and they made 1 gen, i don't need to tunnel someone out so the person definitely doesn't get more than 8k points. I never said i'm obligated to escape and the killer should just farm with us. I'm ok with dying eventually and i don't expect them to let me live only because i have a crown. And yes there are survivors who play like this too and deny the killer the BP. It never happened to me since they turned off MMR but during MMR i had horrible matches where i felt bullied again.

It is also very selfish, because they get like 200k points in a good match from offerings they didn't bring. If we say "everyone just does whatever he/she wants, with no empathy for the other side" i will stop bringing any offerings that benefits others.

You're using 'empathy' wrong in this case.

It's not the opponent's fault if you feel bad because you got removed from this game. This is the thing I see with people screaming for 'punishments' to camping/tunneling; they're claiming their subjective idea of 'fun' or 'enjoyment' means the Killer should be FORCED to play in a way that lets them play longer, IE: Sub-optimally.

If you're opponent, be they Killer or Survivor, wants to try winning, then he can. We need to stop this BS about 'THINK OF THE OTHER SIDE!'

If I'm playing PubG, do I need to think of the person I'm eliminating? 'Oh! He would be the first one dead! I should think of his fun and not kill him! And now he killed me! What about MY fun!?'

Same with Fortnite. 'I'm sniping, and he has a shotgun, so maybe it's unfair for me to kill him, since he can't shoot back. I need to think of his fun!'

It's nothing but attempted guilt to make the 'other side' play sub-optimally, either to get more BP, or, more insidiously for some, to get easier matches; Don't camp/tunnel/slug/genrush/slug/tryhard. No being 'toxic' or 'mean'. Don't 'bully'. Etc. etc.

It's all the same thing at it's core; 'Don't try to win unless I say so' and 'Follow my rules'.

This. Play and win, get points. Don't expect anyone to play differently for you.

Just start bringing BNP's or Keys. If the killer plays nice, then don't use them. If the killer is a jerk, then use them and gen rush the heck out of them.
