Take hatch away

I am sorry to say this as I do play survivor more than killer but either hatch and keys need to go away or just keys. Just had a match where a claudette literally did nothing. No unhooking healing etc. It was just me and her left and I decided to go work on a gen. Got caught. She let me go through the whole sacrifice process just so she could leave me to die and had a key and took the hatch. She was not far from me. I could see the hatch. At least when she was hooked I saved her and took a hit. Sometimes survivors are worse than killers. She didn't have a lot of points. No cakes were used. By the way killer was not camping so she has no excuse.

A lot of us survivors are tired of losing because teammates choose to not play. I've been hurt far often than I've been helped by keys. The hatch shouldn't spawn until there is only one person left so people can't decide to quit and wait. And maybe keys can be removed from the bloodweb and you have to get lucky and loot them. It would also help if there weren't tome challenges for hatch escapes.

    And I'm a survivor main.

What? You're joking with me! Hatch is the shining jewel of this game! We can't possibly have a better endgame mechanic than this! /s

That's just an issue with hatch in general. can easily encourage selfish gameplay.

Was the key pink? If so they might have been doing the ever so brilliant escape twice with an ultra rare challenge.

A big misunderstanding in my opinion is what a win truly is, people like that Claudette are going to get like MAX 10,000 bp, probably 6000-7000 tho. If you escape a match while being useless the whole game the only "win" you truly got was making your team and the killer mad, you got emotions for your win pretty lame if you ask me. Now if your the survivor doing stuff like healing, chasing, gens, ect your going to walk out of there with a good amount of bp. And at the end when it ranks the survivors on how many bp they got they'll be at the bottom which is pretty embarrassing because everyone will know you did nothing the whole game. Having the escape symbol next to your name and still being at the bottom of the rank is extremely sad. Yes escaping is fun and your main goal but if that's all your aiming for the whole game then your games will get more and more boring as you keep on playing and aiming for nothing but to escape. That Claudette will either A, quit playing dbd all together because she'll get bored of hiding and escaping or B, change her ways and be a normal player.

Taking hatch away would cause no alternate escape as a last resort. Removing hatch would give killers an easy 4k when 3 survivors are killed. I dont think we will see to your favor any time soon. Sorry!

Well at least get rid of keys. Too many times I see people take the hatch mid game and those of us who solo are in the dark and end up facing killer alone. I see mainly SWF do this. The killer gets so mad they take it out on people or person who is left. If this is not good then don't let hatch open until last gen is done. Maybe that will prevent it. All I know is it just makes the killer more mad and makes the game that much harder.

I think hatch should stay but only spawn when one survivor is left or all gens done. This follows the horror trope of final girl/guy.

I'm not even going to talk about keys lol
