The server is the timeline that actually takes place, the other two are what the survivor and the killer see individually.
Edit: although some of the icons used are absolutely ######### stupid and apparently, according to that, lithe gives the server a skillcheck, something that wasn't even discussed and clearly isn't the intended message.

considering the terrible lags we are having I shiver only thinking on how the servers will react, I am pretty sure we are about to experience something terrible

Imagine if the picture is an actual inadvertent leak of their intention to nerf Lithe with a skill check because the perk is overused according to stats. That would be hilarious.
Edit: to the OP. The server is the timeline. The more a killer or survivor is closer to the server on the X axis, the better their respective latency which would make them dictate the action. That's what I see.

The diagrams are really bad. When you design a visual aid, it's supposed to help clarify the information in the text and make it easier to understand, but you literally can't interpret these diagrams unless you already understand what was in the text. And, even then, it's kind of a puzzle where you have to be like, "Okay, I guess jumping over a pallet means you throw one, and sacrifice mask means you get stunned?"

i think the skillcheck stands for an "work in progress", as in the survivor performing an animation?
basically the way i understood it was that the skillcheck visualizes the time the survivor is locked into the animation on the servers side, during which a killer, if they attack (=the swing), can perform a grab.
