Question about Bloodpoints and Bloody Party Streamers.

My question is how exactly do the bloody party streamers work exactly when it comes to Bloodpoint gain at the end of a match?

This is how I have always thought that BPS and bloodpoints have worked, so if i am wrong, please let me know: So I know that there are 4 categories for killer and survivor that revolve around the bloodpoints you get. Each category maxes out at 8000 bp, so there is a 32000 bp maximum. Now I have always believed that using offerings that increase bp gain in a certain category or all categories only helped you reach the 8000 maximum in said category, but once you reached 8000, no more bp could be earned. I thought that the only way to earn EXTRA bloodpoints was by using BBQ and chili or WGLF. So I have always believed that the max points that could be earned was 64000 (32000 from a perfect game and then doubled with BBQ or WGLF).

Now the reason I am confused is because when 5 sacrificial cakes are brought into the match ( I am assuming that cakes are the same as BPS, just with a bonus 5%), I am earning around 200,000 bp at the end of the match using BBQ. So can someone explain why this is? Is my understanding of bloodpoints and BPS wrong?

    You are correct with the caps of 8K points and 32K points. However, BPS double what you earn, not fill the cap at an accelerated rate.

    An easy way to tell the difference is to look whether the description says more or bonus bloodpoints. Prove Thyself, for example, earns you more bloodpoints for coop gen repairs, meaning you fill the cap faster, but fragrant bog laurels (objective flowers) earn you bonus bloodpoints, or double what you have in the objective category by the end of the match.

    With that explained, cakes/BPS and BBQ/WGLF take your total bp earned (all 4 categories) and double it. The cakes and perks stack too, which is why you earned so many points. 25K + 2 BPS + BBQ will net you 100K as you have 25,000 times 4.
