So I have decided
So I have decided until the consoles get some sort of optimization I am just going to play wraith and sit in a corner untill gens are done.
Then open gate I mean why play correctly when the devs don't don't care if we can actually do that.
As far as I know I'm not breaking any rules I am not afk or anything just ignoring a objective I can't effectively do because of the devs negligence.

1. What's the point of playing at that point.
2. Yes it is actually bannable if done repeatedly.

Where in the rules does it say I can't just play wraith and hide I am not afk or taking the game hostage the suriviors can come and find me if they want
:Edit was on my phone something's didn't come out right

you know, I love how
'okay, killer does nothing and let's survivors get the points for Objectives' is bannable, but 'killer slugs everyone at the start of the match, keeping them from getting points in any category' is not.

That's a quote from a moderator when I asked something similar.

I doubt people would report you for giving them a free win... But, yeah, I assume purposely deranking is probably something you would get punished for if they reported you enough.

I am not afk tho just watching thee match progress while invisible the moment It becomes available I open the gates

You know as well as I do that that's not the case.
You can't argue your way out of breaking the rules by going "actually". You have your answer.

So what your saying is I should just wander around the map untill the gens get done while invis thanks will do. that way I am actively playing the game.
0 -
Well you're not actively playing the game, which is basically the same thing. Itll fall under the same category.

It's not bannable bc you're giving no bp, its bannable because you're not playing. For mass slugging both teams have to actively play the game, while for the killer going afk survivors only have to play.

No, I'm saying what I said: you can't argue your way out of breaking the rules by going "actually" and you will, in fact, be breaking the rules if you do that, no matter how you try to justify it.

We have already covered this but what the difference when say someone plays basement defender bubba the survivors have to come interact with him or it's the same thing

I dont care about a free win, I want to play the game. And if the Killer is an AFK Wraith, I will report them. Especially when Survivor Queues were longer, a free win is not really that cool if you are in queue for 3-5 minutes before the game, have a 5 minute game with minimal points, probably depip and are back in the queue again.

Because they're technically still playing, same with an egc build. Going invisible and doing nothing isnt doing anything regardless of what survs do.

I feel like everyone commenting is missing the point. CONSOLES ARE UNPLAYABLE RIGHT NOW. There are freezes and lag spikes and the game stutters to the point that killers move noticeably slower than survivors. ALOT. Ive lost count of the amount of chases Ive lost due to moving slower for a few seconds while I watch the survivors GAIN DISTANCE on me. Its so pronounced that I often phase with spirit while moving slower than a survivor the whole time.
Heres one clip of that out of several. Point is, Killer has been broken and unplayable for over a month and the devs have been removing cosmetic mismatch bugs instead.
This is on an Xbox One X

Actually officer, I didn't kill anyone, my gun did.

But I am playing the game just in way that may not have been intended again what the difference between this and a meme build that survs need to find you to interact with you

That is exactly going "afk" in the sense of not playing the game, thus becoming a bannable offense long term, because there are people who want to play the game - please play the game. Whether you follow the survivor or not invisible, you are refusing to partake in the game throughout the whole match. It doesn't really matter if the only action you do is open the exit gates then, as you still remained "afk" for the rest of the game.
It ruins the game for other people and it can become bannable if the same people cross your way over and over again and have the same experience which leads them to report you each time.

I wouldn't count the thought 'Ah damn it's a bubba' seconds before you're on the ground bleeding out 'playing'

Actually, the bullet did, so you should arrest the bullet and let me keep the gun.
