What scifi killer would you want in dbd
I know we got Demogorgon, and technically supernatural stuff is scifi but I'm talking about like alien, or dr.who ect. I'd love to see some sort of alien thing

Xenomorph, predator would fit the bill more but Xenos have a much better scared factor and could actually have a unique move set, pred would be too similar to ones we have already.
2 -
I want a robotic killer being controlled by a mad scientist in the game. I think it could be interesting.
2 -
Cyberman, Xenomorph, Predator, The Thing, Frankenstein, T800/ T1000
I know Predator probably won't happen but man imagine you're doing a gen when you just get hit with their net hahaha
2 -
Yeah I agree, something that's not human or a monster (like all the killer we have right now, we need some stuff to change up the story of dbd, I believe we're getting a vampire soon cause of the tome stuff(yes I do consider vampires both fantasy and science fiction) ,
1 -
I think everyone wants Xenomorph.
2 -
I e never seen a predator movie, but yeah is agree a sounds scary
1 -
Honestly i would prefer a steampunk killer.
1 -
Space map, how likely? The entity is billions of years old won't be a problem for them I think
0 -
Like the "half face man" from doctor who?
0 -
not really interested
0 -
Yeah I can see why, tho nemmy boi is scifi so weird to see a Leon say that
0 -
It's just because the normal response is an Alien killer and i don't really like them :/

That's actually very depressing. Honestly if you ever nothing better to do one night, watch Predator, Predator 2, and Predators.
The first two are super cheesy but man, what a badass killer.

I would never want to see a xeno or predator in this game because it would be so insulting to those franchises to see a xeno or predator get pallet stunned. With the other licensed killers it makes some sense because theyre human, or at least were for the most part.
If were talking scifi licensed killers maybe critters or even killer clowns from outer space might be cool.
I guess with original characters anything goes and could be cool, i think the map would be the main selling point tho.

Thats basically the plot of the movie "death machine". I havent seen it in a long time but that could be really gnarly!

Honestly, I'd trade more out-there sci-fi for a post-apocalyptic chapter.
Imagine it: The killer is a rogue astronaut or sleeper agent sent onto some international space station who sabotages the entire station, killing everyone on board. This then leads to escalating tensions between countries and starts a nuclear war. The survivor is, well, a survivor from the ravaged earth.
I think it'd be interesting. Not sure what you'd do for the killer power though.

The Xenomorph is the big one, closely followed by T-1000 and something from Dead Space.
Nothing exciting I'm afraid!
1 -
Yes deadspace is a big one, tho idk how big of a reach of the entity has on are universe
0 -
It seems to pick people from different worlds already, so it might be straight forward for it.
On the other hand, is it just different parallel Earths it takes from? If so, then maybe Dead Space could be a stretch for it.
Suddenly made me wonder whether the Entity is some Cthulu being, or simply some sort of virus which entwines around the different "layers" of Earth.

The entity is older than earth itself if I remember correctly, I wonder if we will ever get lore on old killers that serves there purpose or survivors that lost hope , like Alex ect
1 -
Not a sci-fi killer I want the most but am throwing out there anyways due to nobody saying it SCP: Containment Breach
1 -
However the Sci-fi killer this game really needs is obviously

Once thought of a concept for an undead astronaut/cosmonaut that never returned to Earth after a secret mission to the Moon during the Cold War time period. When coming back to Earth he basically went ballistic, killed every single other crewmate, then set the rocket off course into deeper space seeking something greater. He could have a power to affect the gravity in a certain area, making objects or ppl float/get slowed.

Terminator would be cool.
1 -
Xenomorph, The Thing, or Necromorph. All of those would be amazing IPs to add.
I would also be down for original content that is a space station and hideous alien. Instead of powering exit gates the survivors power escape pods!
2 -
Xenomorph, that is all! Dream chapter!
0 -
Is that Godzilla?
0 -
Yes love the escape pod thing , Ive always wanted more than gates, like a fisherman and raising an anchor for boats stuff like that
3 -
Terminator or predator
0 -
Obviously Jason X.
2 -
Terminator would be a great fit
2 -
Terminator could fit with the whole 80’s slasher theme the game has. First film is technically also horror.
2 -
Yah! There are so many cool escape things they can do!!!
Giant abandoned cargo ship and they need to escape on lifeboats.
Broken down space station using escape pods.
Underground mining place and they escape powering the elevators.
It would be nice if they spiced it up a bit ^^

The stalker from deathgarden.
Her design can fit in with DBD's use of forest imagery. While keeping a piece of deathgarden alive as a killer.

I've been really curious how a psychic/psionic mindflayer type character might be realized in a game like this. I would love mechanics that alter perception of survivors. Something designed well enough could work against swf by feeding players (and thereby their teammates) misinformation.
1 -
Does Leprechaun In Space count? Not as good as when he went to the hood, but definitely more science fiction.
2 -
That would be a good angle for a future Tome, certainly! Afterall, those perks that are available to all - I would love to know more about those individuals and whether those people are still out there, somewhere.
1 -
How about a killer that. Temporarily puts a survivor in first person mode
0 -
Leprechaun movies are fun, but I think they went in the direction of comedy tho that doesn't ruin it's possibilty , like a scary movie character like brenda
1 -
Honestly predator fits in well in that line up, its the cybermen that stand out, cybermen never really feel scary and its in a non horror based show
1 -
The Thing, an artic research station map would be so cool (no pun intended) and a Macready or Childs survivor would be great
1 -
Xenomorph or The Scrin
1 -
I agree , tho unpopular opinion I enjoy the remake more
0 -
I think it's more on the thought that Cyberman are just a species that forces humans through intense torture and pain to make mindless murder drones, tho weeping angels are scarier

Mark13
Hardware rules

Xenomorph without a doubt, with either Ellen or Amanda Ripley, not fussed (maybe both via legendary skins).
1 -
What sci-fi killers would fit without being extremely lame? That's really the big question. Imagine. A Xenomorph in this game - it would be the worst, slowest, least scary xenomorph in existence.
2 -
Personally, I would rather DbD didn't touch Xenomorphs. The amount of characteristics of the creature they'd have to throw out would render it almost pointless for a fan. It would be a model of a Xenomorph doing non-Xenomorph things. This game simply isn't designed to make an Alien function the way they do in the comics, books, and movies. I feel it's better left to games specifically designed around Aliens doing Alien things, and not Hook-Gen-Gate game.
Terminator, on the other hand, I could see much more easily in DbD.

Xenomorph please :D

Idk, I don't think I would enjoy the killers if they were 100 on the mark, I like that they makes changes and give them powers that are unique to dbd , and it fits into the cannon or the entity twisting powers and stuff
