The killer community is destroying this game
5 games in a row I had a killer who went around slugging everyone and then just left everyone to bleee out. The next 3 games after that the killers I faced all face camped 1 survior all game. Killers are intentionally trying to ruin games to make people quit right now and the devs do nothing about it. Something needs to be done

As for the topic that's another reason not to play solo. Killers enjoy treating solos like trash despite the fact most solos are giving them easy games that even a 5 year old could win.

I think it could happen more often in low ranks. I have not much experience with that but killer over rank 10 are probably more likely to tunnel bc they get stomped from bad matchmaking all day.

How? A survior is not forcibly taking the killer out of the game without any kind of a chance because they wanted to face camp. A surviors can’t force a killer to be on the ground until they bleed out

Sure a killer letting people bleed out is a longer process, it's similar to when survivors just gen rush. oh there go 3 gens in 2 minutes game over.

This is either a bait or you got just extremely unlucky in your games. Honestly my last solo games in EU servers sitting in red ranks have been pretty alright, way better than 20 days ago when nemmy was released and killers felt extra sweaty for some weird reason, probably bad rng on my side getting killers.
Anyway most of the times that happens is because the previous games the killer faced a bunch of skilled survivors that might've bm'd them and get away with it, tilting the killer and making them play like absolute pussies.

It's improved quite a bit my end now, but to start with there were some players who chose to play killer and seem to have ramped up these behaviours, which I'm assuming has spmething to do with the celebrations, since I've barely seen true face-camping and tunnelling in ages, and previous slugging happened purely because the opportunity was presented to the killer by bad survivor play.
However, as unfortunate as your experience was, the vast majority of killers play fairly (as in not act like this on purpose, not being nice to survivors). With luck, your next string of trials will feel more balanced.

Why do Survivors keep using 'The Killer can remove us from the game!' as some sort of argument for anything at all?
That is his job. He wins by removing people from the game. This should not be shocking information 5 years into the game's life.
HOW and WHEN it happens means nothing; you don't get to decide the Killer can't remove you yet because you did not get some sort of fun quota.

I once had a sabbo squad sabbo any hook so I ended up slugging the whole team because I couldn't get a single hook.

Zero slowdown perks, survivors constantly working on gens, on The Game with several safe pallets.
Nobody is ruining the game. You'll have good games and bad games whatever side you play. Most people -- I say most, aren't out to actively ruin your day. Some are, sure. But I think they're a minority.

Just asking, as in the 3 years I've been playing ive been slugged to bleed out maybe 5 times? I play on xbox also.
As killer i ran a meme slugging build once on freddy and felt so bad i let them regroup. Then apologized.
Camped is another story. I have been facecamped mainly by grey rank killers and camped i would say because my team never punished the killer for it.
Ive been punished by the game itself (spawning right next to the killer) more than I've been punished by 'toxic' killers.

I can't stand this "Killer Community" bullshit. All you are doing is enforcing the Us vs Them stigma that will be thing that ends up killing the game. By acting like the dreadful "KiLlEr MaInS" are all evil and out to get you, you are no better than the people your complaining about. You are part of the biggest problem this game has, trying to split the community.
As for your complaints, sorry, but no. I hate camping and tunnelling as much as the next guy, but according to charts, the game has more players than it ever has. If the game wasn't literally broken for some people, there'd be even more. The game isn't dying.

Or, you know, stop blaming players for problematic game design and start demanding the devs fix their core gameplay loop. Can't do that, though, it just wouldn't be the same.

We can’t ask the devs to fix the gameplay. Every time we do killer mains start screaming at us since it would inevitably lead to the nerfing of certain killers and the nerfing/removal of certain strats that killers like to use. Any change at all the inconveniences killers in any way gets immediately shot down by them without any thought at all

I am rank 1 and I see nurses every day slug the entire team, almost every match I go against a nurse or spirit, but I'll take a spirit any day over a nurse...a good nurse can slug the entire team in a minute...

Sure. At some point, enough survivor players will decide something else is more fun and leave. Your queue times will go up and at some point, the game loses more viability.
Sure, it's baked in for killers to send survivors out of the match (I'm feeling literal today so calling it 'killing' doesn't really fit the game's story since the survivors just go back to the campfire in lore), but when players feel punished by other players, they will leave the game. How is that good for anyone?
I think killers should be looking at how to make the match fun for everyone playing. Sure, you should still 'do what you're there for', but for myself, I will sometimes avoid death-hooking someone and look elsewhere and similar. To me, if you're playing just to 1-2-3 kill survivors, you're missing the point of the game.

I can say I've personally done it as a Rank 1. But only to toxic teams that run specific builds so they never get hooked ever.

I play for a year and this happened to me maybe 2 times? Facecamping on first down is more common but its still super rare for me. Consider playing in swf or try out killer if you don't have fun in solo.
Today was nice, earned a ton of BP, get to rank 1 again, got a bunch of challenges done and had around 50% escape rate.

Exactly! People behave like camping/tunneling killers only play killer and "toxic" survivors never play killer.
Actually, if you have a really "toxic" survivor in your lobby, take the time and check their steam profile. Quite often you will find it full of "Camping/tunneling/trash killer comments".
This also works the other way, checking a killer's profile and seeing a lot of "useless/trolling/toxic" teammate comments.
The problem are the people themself, not the side they play. A "toxic" person will play "toxic" on both sides.

No. That's the devs jobs via game design. It's not the players job. If a killer WANTS to do that, that's fine. They can play how they want. That said, they can play how they want. They have no reason or responsibility to do the devs jobs for them and tailor the experience of the Survivors. That lets the devs off the hook for bad game design. It's shifting the blame. So no. Killers shouldn't have to do that. Optional? Sure. Should? No.

You've noticed survivor queues have been quicker during the event right? I.e. people who usually play survivor are playing killer. In fact most people play both to some extent, this divide is mostly in your head.

So, what your post boils down to is 'Killers CAN try winning, but if Survivors aren't happy because of it, Killers should not try as hard'.
Ok, let me apply that to literally every other PvP game out there; I won't try winning in PubG because it may make those who lose to me sad.
I won't try winning in Overwatch, because people might quit when they lose.
I should stop trying in Fortnite because people who can't stand losing might just quit the game, and that's bad for business!
There goes trying to win PvP or World Vs World in Guild Wars 2; I might make people quit if they lose!
This, this is what I point out in every anti-camp/tunnel/slug thread. This exact mentality of 'Killers should stop trying, because it makes Survivors sad'.
And it's funny how those same Survivors telling Killers to 'stop trying' don't stop running meta, don't stop SWF, don't stop genrushing, and don't give Killers free kills.
I mean, Killers might quit if Survivors run them for 5 minutes, slam all five gens in under 5 minutes, and get 4-man escapes! Right?
...No? It only works in Survivor's favor?
I mean, that's all I see when words are put to actions; Killers are expected to make Survivors happy. But if Killers apply the same logic, the answer is 'git gud' and 'earn that 4K' while Survivors demand Killers give final Survivor the hatch, or demand changes to 'camping' so they get free unhooks.
It's 'Camping is ruining the game' and 'Gen speeds are fine; git gid'
It's 'Killers should stop playing sweaty' and 'Stop being an ass' when Killers don't give Survivors a free hatch, while also saying 'Earn your 4K'.
It's 'Don't use good perks (See; complaints about NoED)' while telling Killers to 'deal with it' for SWF.
The level of entitled hypocrisy from Survivors in a general way is staggering.

Killers are supposed to be "mean" as you say. Anyway more or less everyone will agree that survivors are by far more toxic than killers in this game, and this I say as a survivor myself. So play killer instead and you will change your mind.

No, I don't. I choose to spread the love and try not to force anyone out of the game early. However, that is a choice I make on my own. I don't think other people should feel like they have to make that choice.
Also, I wasn't really going after YOU, but more going after the rather popular sentiment that Killers should just change how they play rather than demand the devs fix the game design issues. ANY other successful game would rework the core gameplay loop to deal with these kinds of issues. DbD is one of the few games I've ever seen where the community defends bad game design and instead just demands that people play it differently.
Sorry if you felt attacked. I mean that sincerely. I just want people to demand changes to the game design, not to how people play the game. It's nothing against you personally.
