As confirmed by MandyTalk,we will not get a fix for current performance issues until the midchapter update.
This means AT LEAST another 3 weeks until we'll see a potential fix.
So a big part of the playerbase won't be able to enjoy at least the last week of the anniversary event.

That's if the fix is found by then, whenever they have fixed the issue they have to pay to send it to Sony, Sony then spend time reviewing it and making sure it doesn't break their system, then they greenlight it and schedule a update time, in pretty sure this process takes 3 weeks, not to mention the same process has to be done with Microsoft and then all 3 platforms need to have their update dates align so all cross platforms receive the update at the same time as they have to match client version.

I guarantee that it won't be fixed. Remember how BHVR """"fixed"""" the bugged pallets during All Kill?(which released a survivor who has a perk dependent on pallet stuns)
It'll take them minimum 3 updates to get the game to a comfortably buggy and laggy state, so the fact that the first fix is so far away is incredibly disappointing even though I still had zero expectations.
I guess that's at least a month of maining Spirit. Woo boy, I can feel the adrenaline rushing through me.
