Tunneling and Campy Killers.
I'd like to know if something is being done about this because with Face campers and Tunneler how are people suppose to play. I think they need to be stopped, and something needs to be done. If survivors are OP, let me know about NOED, or Haunting ground OR! Barbecue and chili. It's ridiculous, what's the point of playing a game when all you do is get in a match and the killer tunnels and camps. Can't get points, can't play, so why bother having DBD?

I doubt it since BHVR has said in the past they consider both tactics to be valid tactics. Is it unsporting and kind of jerkish? Yeah, a little. But it's within the rules of the game and very unlikely to be changed as I've never seen an actual fix someone has given that wouldn't also be able to be abused by survivors and/or punish innocent killers.

Yeah, I'm just finding that it's stupid the money people put into it but can't play with OP BS. Should just let the killers kill each other and see what happens. Since the survivors are going to get tired of it.

survivors can unhook right on front of the killer on some maps and have no repercussions except for maybe taking a hit. even if it's an open map, if the killer got trash aim then thats a long chase fr fr.

Camping and tunneling is very common in lower ranks. Killers do not know how to play and they feel safer camping/ tunneling. It sucks but once you work your way up it gets better.
Yah you still get occasional jerks but it is not as bad as brown ranks ^^"

Survivors play by avoiding the killer. Dying because the killer caught you isn't an issue.
Killers have counters, bad Survivor plays show room for improvement.

'Please change the game so I lose less to tactics I don't like' is kind of wild to see from so many people.
Do the folks who make these threads also complain ab out snipers in FPS games? Not trying to be mean, but what is with people demanding the devs remove tactics just because they don't like them? Can Killers ask for gens to be removed? 😁

Pretty much this. I despise griefers and I wish there was a way to stop players from doing things explicitly to give survivors a bad experience - 4-slugging at the start and letting everybody bleed out, facecamping the first player they see, things that deliberately avoid gameplay and have no purpose other than spite. But it's difficult if not impossible to come up with ways to stop this branch of behavior without hurting players who use these tactics dynamically. Killers need to have the option to camp and tunnel for when it's the smartest thing for them to do, or for when not being able to do them would allow the other team to traipse right over them.
A killer that facecamps you at 5 gens is either very new or a scumbag. A killer that camps you at 2 gens is desperate. A killer that camps you in their final 3-gen is being strategic. A killer that camps you at 0 gens just doesn't have anything else to do that would further their goals in any way.

It's #########, it's extremely cheap to hard tunnel someone early, but nothing will change about that.
DS can't do ######### against a sweaty red rank Nurse or Spirit (I hope one day DS will be buffed to disable killer's second ability if hit with a DS for 20 seconds or something so a Nurse doesn't just blink right at me after tunneling me)
Then forum will tell you camping and tunneling doesn't happen that often or is rare in red rank but it's the exact opposite, if you are red rank in an East Asian server then all you will see is camp and tunnel.

No, let them complain. Tunnel, camp and genrush are here because of boring and bad game design. Devs have to change so much thing.

Camping is usually a loosing strategy and its normally only done if you need to remove a player thats hampering your strategy ideallly flashlight players get tunneled a lot because you know they will make you drop your carries. You cant win them all and sure its not fun for that one person but if they just happened to hit all those button on the elevator before jumping off then they have to go down

I love to get tunnel that way the other survivor can do all the gen because i know im good enough to run the killer for a good enough of time for the other survivor to finish the gen. Ofc i will escape with only 14k bp but because of me we all escape easy.
Against a camping killer i just hope my teamate are smart enough to know they need to do gen and escape while leaving me to die.

They are legitimate strategies with enough teamplay, perks, and maps to counter these strategies. And Haunted Grounds and BBQ & Chili aren't OP perks.
