I Really Wanna Take My Money Back
I am Kate main for years. I mained her because she was full with hope even in Entity World. She had sweet smile and she was here for give hope to all survivors. For this, i bought her all cosmetics (with shards & Auric Cells).
But PTB version Kate is sooo bad. I really felt sad and angry for lose my main. You promised us you will not change their original versions. But you did! You made her worse.
She is ugly and angry now. I hope she will not release with this version. I wanna seriously keep old version, she was already best survivor.

You signed an agreement when playing DBD that BHVR has the right to change aspects of their LIVE SERVICE game when they want to.
Meaning, no, you cant have a refund.

I don't even think it looks that bad compared to previous absolutely but bad? No even tho Kate has sweet personality according to her story she's also Badass because she'd only survivorsm who fought entity and almost made her way out so for me both faces are alright I would only change it a bit

I like that theyre buffing Trickster and changing appearances when the game is so broken on console. What a joke. I wish I could stop giving them my money all over again.

Poor Kate, I was not a Kate main, but it's very off putting when her lips are just open showing her front teeth.

Kate is my survivor main and Freddy is killer. Freddy has not any cosmetic. And i am paying real money for new chapters. So i used all shards for Kate cosmetics. And her real money cosmetics are good, i bought them because i liked.

I'm with you, the new Kate is so ugly.
I've always been sad about Kate since they changed her hair and P3 head, but now rather than bringing back some of what made her original design good they've gone and made her worse. They can see how she looks, I don't get why they'd feel that this update to her is an improvement.

Well it technically is an improvement. She looks more realistic and clean. With nice animations. Sure you can argue she isn't as attractive, but being "more or less pretty" can't be the argument for an improvement. Beauty is subjective.

But not everyone in real life is attractive. So not everyone in DBD needs to be either. These are supposed to be everyday people, not models.

I don't expect everyone in DbD to be attractive, but Kate's a singer, it makes sense for her to be attractive, and a lot of people who main her chose her because they find her attractive. It sucks for BHVR to change that after people have put time and money into her. Yes, it's BHVR's right to change her, but it still sucks.
Anyway, real life is fine and all, but when I'm playing a video game I'm going to choose to look at an attractive person over an unattractive one. Increasing happiness by looking at visually appealing and pleasant images is natural. But beyond that I still say more so than any other character Kate should be attractive given her backstory.

Well to be fair it's very difficult to get a get look at their face in game anyhow. Since they always turn their head to the direction you're looking.

This is why you should be very wary of where you spend your money an a game like this.
BHVR likes to change things no one really asked for (survivor animations, map reworks, giving Billy a stupid roar).
If i spent money on skins only to find myself looking at a bunch of new ugly ass faces i didn't ask for, i'd be pretty pissed off too.

I vaguely regret some of my purchases too. But more because I didn't realize how bad I would be at them.
I hate playing games and getting rolled because I didn't pick Freddy. At least they are still really cool characters.

Well I do agree with you on this, I have recently been playing her a lot and I already have a lot of cosmetics on her. But after seeing photos of her face I felt sick, something wasn’t right.
I hope they will fix her.

So what if you dont spend money anymore? They already made their money from you and you cant get it back.

YJ is very pretty. Her fashion sense is just an aquired taste. I also think she's somewhat older than most suvivors? Like early 30s. I kinda like playing as a MILF 😏

Good now we can stop getting cosmetics for her and now for other characters ( mainly Jeff and Adam and elodie)

It's a real bummer lol; lot of people on this forum expressing their displeasure with it though so... hopefully it can get changed? Honestly man, I don't think anyone would care if they just reverted it back. People really didn't ask for this.
