Why are Secondary Actions bound to one button?
There’s been too many instances where a survivor has been downed by a pallet and when I intend to heal I pull down the pallet or vice versa. Recently I tried to disarm a trap and instead I pulled down the pallet and the animation dragged me into the trap. This issue has cost me a few games.
I don’t intend for this to be a complaint but I’m rather asking if there’s a simple fix, I’ve tried reconfiguring controls but all these actions come under ‘Secondary actions’, so the button is the same for all those actions (e.g dropping pallets, healing survivors, disarming traps etc.) and there seems to be no way around it.
If there is no fix, does anyone else agree that controls need to be reworked to tailor certain buttons to more specific actions?

You mean for consoles?

Pallets, vaulting, and lockers are "actions" while healing, repairing, disarming traps, unhooking, etc. are "interactions." Default they are set to the same button but you can definitely change them to be different buttons, I did it myself after too many pallet drops when I wanted to heal or vice versa. You'll need to change either your "pick up item/interactions" button or "actions" button under survivor controls.
