How hard is it to main 3 killers?
Just wondering since practicing Blight for a while but also wanna try and play/learn Ghost face because I do like the stealthy approach. Though kinda wondering if I start playing Ghost face will I have a more difficult time playing Blight due to different powers/skills?
Then there is a possibility I might wanna main a 3rd killer that might be one I am waiting for in the future like an example Slenderman [ps I know its dumb but still having hope for my childhood]
So yeah long story short is it possible or very hard to main 2 or 3 killers that you play based on power/skill?

My best 3 killers are Freddy, Huntress, and The Pig. All 3 very different killers. It is hard though going from one to the other

Easily? The game isn’t that mechanically difficult.
Even the most sweaty nurse main could probably be caught up to in around 100 hours. Half the killers play almost exactly the same.

Ive got like 8 different killers i play regularly. Dont be afraid to branch out

Go ahead, you will not forget how to use older killers. Only exceptions would be mechanical killers like Huntress, Billy, Nurse etc. That usually takes a few games to get the feel back.
The more killers you learn, the better you get at your older ones aswell. Some need a stealthy line of sight approach, others think more about map pressure, some rely more on hearing and predicting. Often killermains rotate through killers, maining 1 at a time until they get bored and main the next.

You can easily play all of them and still win consistently. 80% of killer gameplay is the same, even for very different ones like Hag, Nurse and Blight.

I main Ghostface, Doctor, Hag, and Trapper and am competent with almost every other killer in the game with some difficulty using ranged killers and Nurse due to playing with a controller instead of M+KB and their slower movement speeds. If you can get good as any M1 killer you have over half the roster available to you.

I am playing most times with Nemesis, Freddy and Blight. 3 different type killers. And i am okey with them.

You can definitely do it, but be warned that you may find yourself as a jack of all trades and master of none if the playstyles are too different. That's not bad by any means, but if you plan to get really good with those 3 killers, then it's something you should know.

I main 3 killers. Clown, Twins, and Doc. You couldn’t get anymore different.
I also do a little bit of Ghostface, PH, and Demo here and there. Play who you want.

I main doc, legion and bubba I would say it depends on how drastic their playstyles are from Eachother

Not hard at all. I am actually surprised how many people play just one killer

Ah ok thanks all, just good I can play few killers rather than always one and not forgetting how to play the others.

I mean, I main Wraith, Demo, and Oni. I do fine.
Unless I get Oni on The Game, which happens every single time I play him.

I don't even think I have a "true" main. It's rare that I ever play the same killer twice in a row (unless I'm specifically playing for a daily).
There are killers I gravitate to (Leatherface and Oni) but I'm all over the place in terms of who I use. I feel like I do just fine doing this.

if you play killers like hag or nurse the same way as others, you are playing them wrong.

Hag and Nurse still have to learn tiles, map layouts, which gens to defend, how to identify weak links, build synergy etc. This is basic killer gameplay.
What changes with these two killers is knowing effective trap placements with Hag and mechanical skill with Nurse, this is the other 20% I talked about. These can be achieved with a few hours on both.
I might not play them at the highest level possible, but I still win majority of my games with both, so I wouldn't say I play them wrong :)

There are some killers that are more difficult to brush the rust off if you don't play them consistently. I'm talking if you're trying to play them at full skill cap.
Imho mostly Nurse and Billy (curving style).
All the others are either not that mechanically challenging, or they are but you regain your groove pretty quickly.
For example, you can probably not play GF for months and pick him one day and nothing will have changed. For Huntress, you have to learn her, but whenever I choose her after a hiatus, all I need is a couple of trials to re-train my flick and I'm back to my old days of glory. Deathslinger? Same story, but focusing on how far I have to lead my shot.
Ymmv, of course. But in general, most killers are not that mechanically demanding. And even those who are, they get a bit overrated in that aspect.

Me, a guy that mains 6 killers: "I am 3 parallel universes ahead of you"
