Is Lightweight underrated?
Lightweight has always been an interesting perk for me and there are some people who swear by it but this perk is laughed at by most survivors. Do you guys think it's any good and is it worth running at all?

I think it can be worth running but its a bit situational, and people dont really like perks that can only be useful sometimes as opposed to basically everytime. I like lightweight and the difference of 3 seconds earlier is quite noticeable and can really help in some chases where you already had a good head start, but besides that theres not much else and wont really help against really good killers.
My personal favorite part of using it is the feeling of safety with just running around, I usually just spend practically the whole trial sprinting as the marks disappear quickly enough to where I most likely wont be getting caught.
It's nice.

Lightweight from my experience is absolute god on indoor maps with all the turns and corners

What makes lightweight a bad perk is that the killer gets a notification if somebody is using it so it pretty much renders it useless, take a similar perk like Dance With Me (When performing a rushed action to vault a Window or leave a Locker, you will not leave any Scratch Marks for the next 3 seconds.) The killer does not get a notification for DWM therefore you can pull of lots of sneaky plays with it, if Lightweight did not notify the killer it was being used it could be OK but the way it is now makes it rather pointless to run imo

What do you mean by a notification?

When the killer is chasing somebody with lightweight equipped they get a notification, i forget exactly what its like , maybe like the kindred, prove thy self logos or it shows in the point scoring feed like how you see ruin is active, maybe both... i hope that makes sense but they defiantly get to know they are chasing a lightweight user

Really? I have never heard of that...

Not really. It’s decent if you have a head start on the killer with sprint burst, but there’s little reason not to use fixated or spine chill instead.
Fixated in particular let’s you run to a 3+ way junction and just stop leaving marks mid chase if you are somewhat ahead of the killer. Lightweight would never let you leave chases in the same way.

I personally like it. It won’t help in the heat of a chase, but when being smart about getting out of dodge early when hearing the TR/spotting the killer, and using LoS blockers smartly, Lightweight can totally throw the killer off and trick them into thinking you’ve doubled back.

It's useful if you're like me and doesn't like traditional looping. Incredible useful for scratch mark jukes and stealth, although imo Fixated is better.

Garbage perk, 3 seconds over 10 is worthless

I don't think a Perk should directly counter any Killer. What is needed is some tweaks to Spirit to make her a bit less oppressive. Tells for her phasing would be perfect, imo at least.
Although if people would start walking instead of running when she's phasing... they might have a bit easier time against her. I can't count the number of times I've heard that phasing noise, started walking away immediately, and my teammate on the gen took off and got slapped. It's not always effective, but you can get a reasonable headstart on her if you walk away instead of running.
Overall though, buffing a Perk to make playing against Spirit easier is not the way to go. She needs tuned a bit is all. I would like to see some of the more niche Perks given an overhaul though. Give me something else to run besides my usual.

I used it a few times and I don't think it is a bad perk, but since the use is limited for 4 perks, there are better ones out there.

I think Lightweight is good against bad killers, but with good killers all you need is Iron Will to accompany Lightweight and it's a solid choice.
