The main issue of this game is not how much unbalanced is...
... But it's the lack of respect that each side has for the other. A game can still be enjoyable even if it's unbalanced, but with all this toxicity around even a perfectly balanced game can be annoying...

Tbf this isn’t an issue the devs can fix
11 -
They can, but they won't cause they have no interest on doing it...
1 -
Nah, I’m toxic on both sides

Fix tunneling, camping with game mechanics. Make SWF less powerful and buff solo. It won't fix all issues, but there will be a much healthier atmosphere in the community.

The problem isn't the imbalance, DbD is actually pretty balanced, it's a mixture between awful "high-level" play and equally bad matchmaking.
3 -
A functional emblem system that takes into account various advantages and disadvantages and throws them in the players faces.
It can be quite a humbling experience when the game tells you that you actually were playing on "easy" mode.

Well, a good start will be taking actions towards people who throws tantrums in the end chat and starting to take seriously reports with screenshots evidence... I lost the count how many times they insult me or told me to kill myself (honestly I don't care about those things, but not everyone is like me and in the long run this is quite annoying) and those people that I reported are still playing like nothing happened...

This logic requires two things to be true. 1) That the opposing sides feel the same level of stress and 2) That while the game is unbalanced, which it always will be, that the imbalance is something that doesn't actively make one side's experience worse than the other.
Neither of these things are true.
Killers are needed for the game as much as survivors, but killers tend to have a worse time enjoying the game. A lot of the game's current balance is counter intuitive letting them play the game in ways that don't require becoming extremely stressed and emotionally invested. A lot of your time is spent after potentially 5 years of play is still feeling forced to use the same builds and killers. This is the only game I've ever played where the higher I get in rank the less fun I actually have and the more stressed I become.
Survivors conversely get a lot of leeway to try new things, have a team that can take some of the pressure off and if it you want more than a number advantage you can actively just play their side with actual friends and have way more fun, get rewarded without having to put as much in and still get to high rank. The game caters more to their enjoyment as survivors are getting more and more perks to actively fight the killer while the killers aren't get the support their side needs to make the game less stressful overall.
Survivors also flat out dictate the base terms of the game because they interact with the game more. Gen times aren't set based around killer needs because we don't do gens, but gen speed has a drastic effect on killer gameplay. There are few perks that are particularly good at slowing gen speed down consistently and can be outright overridden by survivor perks. There have been several points in DBD's history where the game was legitimately unplayable for killers. Thankfully the devs solved those problems eventually, but the fact they happened at all has made killers enjoy the game less and be less trusting in their decision making.
Killers aren't poor put upon angels by any means. Every player has the potential to be jerks, but to say the game doesn't have a tangible balance issue that leans towards survivors is a bit disingenuous.

Thats why aimbots in shooters exist, because people like to humble themself? I am not sure that reasoning is valid.

I will say one thing: this is a game that's balance swings ridiculously depending on how you play it.
If you're in a SWF with competent friends? Forget it. You'll run circles around any killer.
If you're solo at higher ranks and everyone at least has a basic understanding of the map and looping? Eh, you'll be fine. Probably.
If you're a solo Survivor in the low ranks (like I am now - I'm a killer main trying Survivor in earnest). Holy hell, this game is killer-sided. All a killer needs to do is mindlessly follow a survivor (mind games are for nerds), down them, hook them, and wait. Every other game, you queue into a lobby filled with default skin survivors on console holding nothing. You can sorta guess how the game's going to go from there.
So killer can just take any chase he wants - even if it takes 2 minutes. Who cares about pressuring gens? You think anyone's doing a gen at low rank? That's the last place you'll find a survivor. And this is where you're going to see all the "toxic killers" who facecamp and smack you on hook. They think they're good at the game because they keep winning against Survivors who don't know what a loop or a gen is.
I now think survivors who get through these low ranks don't do so without a monster chip on their shoulders... and that's why so many Red Ranked Survivors seem like douchenozzles. And I also think this is why this game is ridiculously hard for the devs to balance. At low rank, the wrong killer buff will make this game unplayable for new and returning players if you have even one potato survivor on your team.
Thankfully, it seems all you need to do at low rank is do 1 gen, win 1 chase and unhook 1 survivor and you get a pip... so I'll be out of here soon, I hope!

Did i say something related to balance? I never said that this game is killer or survivor side, I just said a fact: this game could be more enjoyable if people aren't toxic

tunneling and camping isnt toxic just like playing SWFs is not toxic.

It's because no one wants to accept the blame for their mistakes and poor game play. If they can blame someone else, anyone else, they will so they can feel better about completely screwing up something and causing their team to lose. That would require being able to process emotions that aren't anger, joy, or fear. So many people grow up not learning how to process emotions like guilt, shame, and embarrassment. The only reaction they know is to scream, rant, rave, and blame someone/thing else for their mistakes.
It's a shame, but you can see it all over social media. We as humans used to be able to process these emotions and learn from them. Now though, it's just blame the other person really loudly and it's not your fault. Society at large is responsible for this though. Just look at the popular streamers and other social media "influencers". They're the ones with the loudest mouths and the nastiest takes on things, not the ones who are polite, courteous, and willing to take the blame for their mistakes.

I couldn't agree more with what you said

Id say it's the lack of proper optimization.
Sorry console gamers, BHVR STILL has not fixed your issues yet.

The game itself makes people behave in toxic manners and fosters a toxic feelings like deep resentment towards your opposition for things that are more so out of your control.

yep fully agreed, i don't hate sweat squad SWF ,Gen rushers, killer who camp at EGC or killers who tunnel for a strategic reason. most problem this game has would be more bearable if it wasn't for all the toxic players.

I remember seeing a video that was comparing DBD and Evolve. Sadly I can't find it but the main argument was
The game works when it is played the way the devs intended. When you start playing to win it falls apart.

I am struggling to pip as a low rank survivor, and yet when I am caught out first and face camped out of the game... I don't lose progress, it is so weird.
Compare that to killer and it just keeps ranking me up and up. I am already rank 9 with only a weeks experience whereas I am hardstuck 16 as a survivor.

No clue what wdym is but what I mean is. When you first started playing dbd you weren't running immediately to a gen. You were sneaking because you were actually afraid of being spotted by the killer. Gens weren't being rushed, killers weren't being pressured to eliminate someone right away. By playing the game the way it was intended to be played at first, the game was closer to balanced. Now we run straight to a gen each, we don't care if the killer see's us, we even get in his face sometimes because we have DH+plenty of pallets.

I believe he means making the game more enjoyable, healthy since they are factors that the majority of players don't like about the game.

then i agree of course.

ty for clearing that up.

this game has 2 problems: 1) toxic players on both sides 2) swf. the first problem is not solvable: we live in a frustrated society! the second problem, with a little intelligence, yes!

quiet! I also found myself, after a 6 month break, from dbd to rank 20 ... about twenty games are enough to return to an acceptable rank! but it was fun to play against novice killers ...;)
