A plea to the devs

To start I dont want to be rude to them but I think it would be in everyone's best interest if we knew what would be changing from the ptb and why. That way survivors who are complaining that there is no counterplay know theve been heard and can suggest in good confidence other ways to buff him instead of a way they perceive has no counterplay, the devs can also stay the course and explain why they believe this would be a good change. Either way I think this would quell some of the anger towards bhvr right now and would start a conversation about bettering the game instead of right now where i think noone thinks there really being heard and I think that's a massive problem right now

Things do get changed (sometimes) from the PTB to the live servers, but there isn't any comparison changes from the original, proposed changes on the PTB. On some cycles, some PTBs were several versions behind from the current developer build (ex. Resident Evil PTB was an early March build) that even developers made complaints about it. If it's several versions behind, then what's the point in testing content? If you're seeking to squash bugs, then finding bugs could be eliminated or created in newer builds. If you're attempting to play test the new content, then that experience wouldn't match the current thought process of the development team.

Let me give you a great example of the PTB vs. Developer Build dilemma.

Using the Resident Evil PTB's Raccoon City Police Station, there was hardly performance issues originally for PC users during the PTB. An occasional lag spike here and there, but nothing that would've raised an alarm at the time On release, there were optimization issues out of the wazoo for PC Users, which even high-end users were making complaints about.

If we were up-to-date with the developer's build when they released a PTB and made adjustments during the PTB period to correlate with the development team, then a lot of individuals would have a positive response. Instead, we're given dated content from weeks ago that doesn't reflect the current thoughts of the development team.

To be frank I think the devs even just letting us know what they where working on after a ptb would go a long way from what's going on right now. I still remember the positive reactions people had when they provided some of the trickster changes from the ptb
