Wish: Release The DATA On...
I know that there's data on the escape rates, but that is not what this post is about.
This post is about a very specific way that escape rate is divided.
There is a problem in this game and I go into great detail as to why it occurs in this post:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/33553/the-introduction-to-the-dbd-death-efficiency-problem#latest
To summarise it: Survivors are dependent on finishing Generators as a 4 man team. The moment that number dropped by even 1, it's already possible that they are no longer making progress. When they enter a 3 survivor mode, they become reliant on how for the "Initial Push" (the amount of gens finished and half-completed during the 4 man) was able to bring them forward.
Any other strategically sound attempts at a 3/even worse 2/1 survivor number become totally negligible.
This is called the Death-Efficiency Problem:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnLB_lCoNgE
Either everyone escapes (but the last), or 1 death spirals into a 4 man. The in between escapes are often due to the Initial Push just being far enough to squeeze through the last Gens, but is otherwise futile.
My Wish!
- What is the win% of living survivors after the 1st person has died (Y) based on how much generator progression has been achieved (x, ranging from 0-400 seconds of progression and preferably excluding hatch escapes)
- What is the win% of living survivors after the 2nd person has died (Y) based on how much generator progression has been achieved (x, ranging from 0-400 seconds of progression and preferably excluding hatch escapes)
- What is the win% of living survivors after the 3rd person has died (Y) based on how much generator progression has been achieved (x, ranging from 0-400 seconds of progression and preferably excluding hatch escapes)
These are the numbers I need to further analyse the problem. And that's it for my wish (:

There's... too many words here. You saying survivors is evil, yes?0

This post is non-partisan.

I really wish we had access to statistics like this as well... we need to be able to see the raw data so that we can compile our own research.
the biggest piece of toxicity in the forums is the survivor/killer bias. Raw data doesn't lie... it becomes misleading when its compiled with intentional bias.
Devs, please tell me you would consider releasing some genuine statistics so that some of us number crunching nerds could actually see the numbers firsthand.
