Do you play to have fun or do you play to win? Why?
Do you play as efficiently as possible with the best perks and strategies or do you like to be more laid back and do more fun strategies? And what's your reasons for doing so? For Killer most of the time I'll play to win because I hate that feeling of letting survivors escape, always leaves a sour taste in my mouth. For Survivor I'll play to have fun if I'm having good games and when I'm not I'll start to play to win. It's always fun to use perks like flashbang but when I'm constantly being tunneled/camped I'll just equip DH, DS, UB, and another meta perk.

Both. For fun and to win. Although winning as killer is almost a job unless you are using the meta every game.

I mix different builds up but priority is always to win. Not to say that playing to win isn't fun, because it is. But that's also why I don't run SWF because solo is a lot more satisfying to win in, versus having comms and relaying info to teammates.

I only play to have fun which, truth be told, is getting harder with every update.

When you can’t stay red ranks because there’s so many DCs you keep 3k depipping

Ah, my friend, if only that was the reason...
I would gladly stay in Purple Ranks forever if it was a price to pay, but DCs or toxic players definitely are not the reason why it is getting harder for me to have fun.

Generally I play for fun, but sometimes some obnoxious survivors make me decide to play to win. They are all having a laugh with their triple flashlight bodyblock hook sabotage nonsense when I play nice. But then I start tunneling and all of a sudden they aren't in the mood to swarm me. So weird.
