Almost every game English-speaking players hate me
I am from Russia and constantly after the games I meet either in the chat or in the profile insults because of my country. What are you doing there, why do you hate us? I usually ignore it, but today I faced 5 bad games in a row. What a #########.

I am sorry you are going through that.
Sadly, the previous 4 years in the US saw racists and bigots being able to be proud of their hate, given who the POTUS was. Now they can't comprehend that everyone hates them again; they still think being a bigot is acceptable.

You never know. And given that they said they were running into English players, I was making they assumption they may be playing on NA servers.
Granted; I don't know how servers are set up for European and other areas of the world.

I play with players from many countries. But most often I see insults from the USA.

I'm sorry that you've faced that in-game...please do make sure to make an in-game report when this happens. I am sure that you're aware that we have no tolerance towards prejudice.

I write reports. I just do not see a specific result after my actions. These players do not disappear from the game.

Nah, that's not the thing. Everyone speaks English now.
I'm getting flamed for being Russian quite often and I'm only playing with Europeans because of my location.
Usually people are just salty and want to insult you in every possible way. I kinda prefer racism over wishing my siblings cancer.

Russian players are usually connected to European Servers (maybe also to other Servers, if those are more close to Russia/where the respective player lives since Russia is "quite" huge).
And well, English-speaking... Most of Europes Countries speak English, I doubt only UKlers are complaining about Russian players.

I'm gonna tell you why
-Your ping: every russian killer player I verse has so bad ping that they have absolute unfair advantage over the actual EU survivors, every hit will land miles away from your real location. Hit validation doesn't do anything against this. I even have better experience against NA killers since I play swf with american friends sometimes.
-Usual russian attitude: I'm not saying every russian is a toxic ######### but from the many contries killers I met around russians are usually the ones who BM or flame in chat the most in my experience since I started in 2018. I know it might sound racist and again I don't mean all russians, but I do receive mostly the bad manners from them.
EDIT: conclusion - I know it sucks but it is what it is, and I wish devs gave you the servers you deserve to play at for a better experience

BHVR uses Amazon Game Servers, which are not supported in Russia. So we are stuck with Russian players on EU-Servers.

Russians are seen in a similar light as the Chinese; very poor manners, very poor sportsmanship. Very prone to cheating. People see the characters and automatically make assumptions. It's really unfortunate, and you should definitely report these people.

there are definitely nearer facilities in countries near Russia, with so much better distance than what they make with Germany or UK servers

I am sorry for you, i am from germany but i also noticed that tons of people complain about russians which makes me really mad.
It sounds stupid but the best you can and should do is ignoring it. :/ Hopefully it will get better in the future, this stuff needs to stop.

I'd like to leave a tip that lets you get flamed less often: never ever write "gg" first if you win. Or anything. It triggers salty people.
I did this mistake in past and this cuts the number of insults by half if not more.

People will insult you for anything regardless of whether or not they actually hate something about you. They'll cling on to any aspect of you they can get their hands on and insult you about it.
Just the nature of DBD's salty playerbase, it's best you either get used to it. Or turn off the end game chat.

As Mandy already stated, we are sorry you encountered this kind of behaviors, so please report them if it happens again, which I hope it doesn't.
That said, since some people started getting political and others started throwing generalizations left and right, I decided to close this thread.
