Did they make it harder to pip up in red ranks?

Almost every rank reset I can get rank 1 survivor within the first day. However this time has been tough and I was kicked back from 2 to 4 even while escaping a lot. Did they slightly modify the pipping system by making it harder?

    Honestly I don't know but the benevolent emblem is broken I swear

    I've had a hell of a time pipping even in purple ranks.

    Some matches I'll put up 27k+ points and 5-10k more than the next best survivor and I still don't pip. Something seems broken.

    This. Benevolent seems to be broken; as far as I can tell, points from unhooking, carry hits, and grasp rescues are counting, but points from healing are not counting. Those points may have been bugged before, because it seemed like you'd get emblem points for all heals undertaken by your team, not just you - but I'm pretty sure it's the other extreme now and that category's just dead.
