Do you get the Devour Hope warning if you get downed by special attacks?

Like if I just go Hatchets downs survivors all day would they get the warning that by the third hook that there's Devour Hope? I'm thinking of trying just going Corrupt Purge Plague until I get like 5 stack of Devour Hope for a surprise mori.

I think it only notifies them if you m1 a healthy survivor

i think it does, not with plagues corrupt purge tho for some reason, mabye im thinking of noed but one of them does

They changed it a little while ago so that even special attacks show Devour Hope. The only way to down a survivor without giving the notification is to interrupt and grab them.

Noed is only revealed on M1 attacks, so what you were saying indeed applies to DH.
