why use q and e for billy
I know the sounds dumb but i have been using q and e for a while and i dont know what its been doing for me can i get like a quick run down sort of a disgrace to my name rn ngl

As someone that came from console I did it because mouse movement is way too sensitive while sprinting to me.

It's a constant input. So, it's more consistent than mouse and it makes curving easier.
I do curve with mouse and use Q and E for traversal, because that's how I learned. However, I use only 400 dpi sensitivity, which is less janky in curves, but it would also force me to constantly lift my mouse when sprinting around the map. That's why it works for me and I expect to be in the minority.

Keep running out of mousepad

Digital input (something is either at 0% or 100%) vs. analog input (something can be at any value between 0% and 100%). The former is good if you want to quickly switch between the two values. The latter is good if you want to be more accurate. There's also the "no more mouse pad" issue others have mentioned.

I use my mouse and no keyboard inputs for traversing or curving. It’s just how I learned to play it about a year ago.

I use Q & E for billy, Mouse is just way too sensitive....I use the mouse to thread the needle sometimes
Pssst, hey kid, you can press Q and look left with your mouse to curve slightly more & vice-versa, just don't tell the devs that.

It’s opinions like this that make me feel godly when I 4k with Billy without regression perks.
Add on rework? Yes. Uncompetitive killer? No.

I've been playing him more and he's so damn fun, I don't care if he's not as strong as he used to be, he's still a blast to play as.

Personally I've gotten used to using mouse only for Billy. Q & E is better and more consistent, but I've gotten used to mouse so eh.
Plus E is already assigned to my Dead Hard. Maybe I'll try Q & E again sometime.
