This might be a series I do depending of the responses

I give a name of the killer you decide what their power is. You can do lore if you want just separate it from the power .have fun

Killer: the photographer

Edit if you think someone from a different game could fit in this go ahead just say the game

This feels like a Ghost Face, a leaning stalker. In fact, I wish it was something Ghostface could have done.

Hmm. I think The Photographer should be a stalker too, but with a catch. They would have the quickest stalk out of them, but they can't expose. They have a permanent aura effect when the survivor is fully stalked and it won't go away until the meter runs out. The photographer should also be able to take photos of loops and such, which will also have their aura revealed for a certain amount of time. Using these vaults or pallets allows them to kick and vault faster

my concept for this turned out a little weird and I don’t know if I would create it like this again but here it is (I think I like the perks more than the power):

That blind effect sounds interesting and

having a killer that's an area of denial at the cost of him not being able to interact in that area deffently one of a kind killer

Is also one of a kind sorta reminds me of old old wraith but this one goes both ways

    New Killer: The Photographer

The Photographer is a versatile killer, able to blind and stun survivors, and traverse the map quickly, at a detriment to their resources. Using their perks Ghostly Image, Group Photo, and Hex: Relentless Pursuit, they can confuse survivors while being deadly in a chase.

    Speed: 4.6m/s

    Terror Radius: 32m

    Height: Medium

Bio (except just major points bc I'm lazy right now)-

    • James Actus Novea
    • Born to a broken household- absentee father and alcoholic mother.
    • Never fit in with the children at school- bullied relentless due to difficulty learning and not being popular
    • Begins verbally, moves to physically; teachers never step in to help. Alone + isolated, no good adult role models in life. Only sees corruption + malice, begins to breed resentment
    • One day finds a camera, discarded single-use one but still finds out enjoys taking photos (still, like, 10? 11?).
    • Comes home + takes photos of things around the house with no intention to ever get them printed but likes it all the same. Until mother crushes it beneath her heel.
    • Finds a job- "anything to escape the confines of this hellhole"- + saves up money for a camera.
    • Mother finds out + yeets it for more booze
    • Enraged, he flies into a rage + kills her, using whatever is under the bathroom cabinet to dissolve the body. She had nobody left to come looking for her + nobody realised she'd died.
    • Continues to work but can never forget the thrill of killing her. Keeps saving up for camera + when finally gets one, takes a photo of her mutilated corpse (now buried in the back garden maybe?? depends on time taken to buy camera).
    • Dad comes home + James acts nice before killing him too when he's unsuspecting. Buries body and takes photo of the grave, hanging it up along with the photo of mother's grave.
    • Begins a quest of un-lifing everyone who wronged James in the past inc. teachers, bullies, nasty co-workers, etc. Always takes photos of their graves.
    • "When the police finally make the connection, and storm James' house, they find the photos. Twenty or Thirty line the walls and, upon further inspection, they confirm every photo marks the place of a body, except one. It's at this location where James is surrounded by a thick, black fog; tendrils stroking their face as if alive. Leaning into the touch, whispers and promises of photos and blood fill James' ears until all that's left is a camera."

    Weapon: Wooden staff

Picked up from the local charity store, this staff sure packs a punch to the skull.

    Power: Spectral Photography

A camera capturing spirits during life now harnasses the power of death, weaponising it against the living.

Press and hold the power button to aim the camera, slowing down in the process. Press the attack button to fire off a burst of light, consuming a small amount of spectral film to blind the survivor. Blinding the survivor while they are already blinded will instead stun the survivor, preventing them from moving for a short while.

Press the active ability button to consume some spectral film and photograph an area in front of you. Any lockers within your sight shall become Enchanted. Searching an Enchanted locker will allow The Photographer to teleport to the other Enchanted locker after a short channel, removing the Enchanted status from that locker. Any survivor within an Enchanted locker after The Photographer teleports will be immidiately grabbed.

    Power Trivia:

    • Slowed to 3.3m/s while aiming the camera.
    • Has a pull-up + put-down time of 1 second. Cannot interact with anything else during this time.
    • Only blinds/stuns survivors within the LOS of the killer, server-sided decision.
    • Gradually speeds up to 4.6m/s over the 1 second put-down time.
    • Begins the trial with 60 spectral film.
    • Blinding/Stunning consumes 15 spectral film.
    • Photographing an area consumes 20 spectral film.
    • Teleporting consumes 5 spectral film
    • There is a cooldown of 1.5 seconds between being able to take shots with the camera.
    • A blind and a stun both last for 3 seconds.
    • When a survivor is stunned, they are unable to move or interact with anything.
    • A survivor can be freed from a stun if they are stunned by another survivor using the perk Head On or a pallet, or The Photographer is stunned or blinded in any way.
    • Recovers 75 spectral film whenever a survivor is hooked or killed.
    • Blinding a survivor will interrupt whatever action they are currently completing.

    Perks:

    Ghostly Image

Damaging a generator in any way will activate Ghostly Image. The next time a survivor interacts with these generators, a spectral killer will appear from around a corner and head towards the survivor at a speed of 4.6m/s. These spectral images can do no damage, although if a swing connects with a survivor they will suffer from the Incapacitated status effect for 10/12/14 seconds.

Ghostly Image has a cooldown of 40 seconds after being activated by any survivor.

    Group Photo

Isn't it better when we share the pain?

Hitting a survivor with a basic attack causes all other survivors to be blinded for 5/7/9 seconds.

Group Photo has a cooldown of 60 seconds.

    Hex: Relentless Pursuit

You will stop at nothing to get to your victims and right the wrongs. N̸̝̳͋̎̎̕ô̷̧̰̬̹̂̉̏̈́̚t̶̢̳̻̞̂͘͜ȟ̸̤̣̆i̶̥̔̇̏́̃́n̸̮͎͉̱͋g̸̘̒̽̚͝͠.

Your basic attack cooldown and missed attack cooldown are reduced by 20%/22%/24%. Striking a dropped pallet will cause it to break, going through a 2.4 second animation.

This effect persists while the related hex totem remains standing.

    So yeah that happened

EDIT: Forgot the basic info like movement speed

They do but he's really different in power. I guess the closes I could describe it is that taking a photo opens a dream world where the survivors are paused in what ever they were doing at the moment they were photographed. The killer can damage these dream versions but only half is transferred to the 'real' version once the dream closes.... well as far as i remember it.

He's... kind if weird, but I do compliment IDV out there killer designs.

Hey, I thought about this. This would actually be a fun series to do.

If you enjoy the idea of it and wanna continue, go for it. Maybe ask a mod if it's okay. I bugged the crap out of poor Luzie with questions seeing how I can set up my series without complicating things or giving mods more work to do

    Looking forward to this series!

    The Photographer

    Movement speed: 4.6 m/s
    Terror radius: 32m
    Height: Medium
    Weapon: Pocket Knife
Weapon description: A foldable knife, used particularly for self-defense. It shows signs of plenty of use.
    Power: Photosnapper's Gift
    Power description:

The Entity has gifted you the ultimate camera.

    Camera:

Press and hold the Power button to aim your camera.

    Take Photo

While aiming your camera, press the Attack button to take a photo, up to a maximum of 8. The photo prints out of the camera afterward. The Photographer can only take photos of survivors, generators, totems, chests, and exit gates. Only one photo is allowed for each survivor. If a survivor's photo is taken while they are doing a generator, totem, chest, or exit gate, they are prioritized in the photo. If there are two survivors taken in one photo, the one whose photo hasn't been taken is prioritized. Taking a photo of a survivor alerts them with a sound cue.

    Photos:

The Photographer can carry up to 8 photos at once. Once at least 1 photo is taken, press the Active Ability button to hold your photos to view them. (Use the scroll wheel or whatever controllers use to scroll though your photo inventory. The Photographer shifts through them.) Photos can be removed from your inventory by burning them in campfires located around the map while a certain photo is selected. Press and hold the Interaction button on a campfire to burn the photo, allowing more space for your inventory.

    Special Ability: Teleport to Photo

After at least 1 photo is taken, the Photographer can now teleport to a survivor, generator, totem, chest, or exit gate assigned to the photo. While holding the particular photo, hold the Active Ability button to teleport. If the Photographer teleports to a survivor photo, she teleports to the current destination of the assigned survivor. After teleporting, she moves at a tremendously slower rate for a few seconds. Teleporting has a cooldown of 20 seconds, and the Photographer is unable to take a photo during this time.

    Power trivia:
    • Aiming your camera changes your movement speed to 4.4 m/s (110%).
    • The cooldown after taking a photo reduces your movement speed to 3.85 m/s (96.25%).
    • Your movement speed is reduced to 2.024 m/s for 3 seconds after teleporting.

I also love this idea of recalling your moments and burning the ones you don't want and sorta re living the moment of the photo by teleporting to it

The Photographer, a man who's obsessed over countless victims in his life, follows that path in the Realm of The Entity with his power, Through A Visionary's Lens.

Terror Radius - 24 meters (I think this would be fair because he kind of needs a bit less of a heads up than most for his power to work)

    Movement speed - 4.6 m/s.

    Through A Visionary's Lens:

The Photographer spent countless hours capturing the beauty of his victims long before he actually killed them, sometimes even dragging his focus across years. He enjoyed watching them squirm in the constant feeling of being watched.

This entire power is about obsessions.

Press the power button to aim a camera and from there, press the attack button to take a photo, which will slowly increase the Obsession Level of any Survivor that can be mostly seen within the photo (hopefully wouldn't be too finnicky like with Ghostface's reveal). The range of the camera is unlimited, but it will not give a Survivor Obsession Points if they are in a chase with you, meaning you might want to "snipe" people with the camera.

To start with, every Survivor is Obsession Level 1. There are 5 Obsession Levels when going up against the Photographer.

Taking a photo of a Survivor will give them 3 Obsession Points. Levelling up a Survivor's Obsession Level will reset the Obsession Points they have accumulated (so if you go from Level 1 to 2, you don't need only 6 more points, but all 9, if that makes sense).

Obsession Level 1 is completely normal Survivor, doesn't change anything. 3 Obsession Points to level up to Obsession Level 2.

Obsession Level 2 is mostly normal, but The Photographer will reduce the recovery time of stuns from a Survivor in Obsession Level 2 and beyond by 75% (cannot stack with Enduring). 9 Obsession Points to level up to Obsession Level 3.

Obsession Level 3 keeps the same thing from Obsession Level 2, but also allows The Photographer to break pallets and generators 25% faster when in a chase with a Survivor who is in Obsession Level 3 and beyond. 15 Obsession Points to level up to Obsession Level 4.

Obsession Level 4 is the same as the prior levels, but additionally reveals the aura of Survivors in Obsession Level 4 who perform a fast vault for 5 seconds afterwards and reveals the auras of Survivors within Obsession Level 4 whenever they perform an altruistic action. 30 Obsession Points to level up to Obsession Level 5.

Obsession Level 5 is the final level, and the most dangerous. It keeps all of the same benefits for The Photographer as Obsession Levels 2, 3 and 4, but additionally will permanently afflict Exposed onto the Survivor and allow The Photographer to kill that Survivor by his own hand.

There are other ways to increase the Obsession Points of the Survivors. Being stunned will give 1 Obsession Point (3 if it's Head On or DS, just because I feel like being cheeky with that) and being Blinded will give the Survivor 3 Obsession Points.

Obsession Points can be removed by hiding in a locker. Each Obsession Point will be removed for every 12 seconds spent in a locker.

    (Sorry that this is long)

    Thanks :D

The camera would actually zoom into it, so you can do it from any distance where it's actually visible. If it's really small, then it won't work.

It teleports you to an open area in the photo (if there's no open area, it'll just teleport you near the assigned objective). Also I guess since you have 8 photos, you can use 4 for each survivor and the other 4 for objectives (you can assign all 4 on generators if you'd like, also chests if you want to meme around).

I actually prefer your idea because it seems more accurate, so I'm going to modify mine later, thank you so much for the feedback!
