Rough Night as Survivor

Anyone else having a hard go of it tonight? Between weird actions by teammates, killers being extra vindictive, and the console issues it’s just been slow going.

Same all the games lag me when a killer is close or swings at me along with lots of random stutters. Makes it hard to run and loop at all.

To all survivors who somehow get to red ranks but don't know how to play against Plague: STOP HEALING FROM THE FOUNTAINS. You are dooming your team and powering her up. Learn to play injured and not rely on 2 hits but strong chases.

    Ty.

And yes, you're not the only one havin a rough night lol.

Yeah very bad night tonight. Nothing but laggy console ghostfaces and super scummy playstyles and teammates

I’m seeing a lot of teammates standing still for some reason. Well into a game, obvious that the killer is no where near them and they just stop and stand around. I was even on a hook one game and it happened. I would say sudden afk but you can see they are looking around. Maybe admiring the craftsmanship of that wall? Or maybe contemplating their navel?

Healing against the plague can be very beneficial if you know how to do it right. Think about it: NOED and Devour Hope are really powerful because at some point in the game everyone will be downed with only one hit. Now, imagine staying infected the whole game so then everyone is instantly downed, but if you cleanse, she will either have to injure you with a normal M1 or wait until you become fully infected again.

However, the cleansing has to be done in a smart way to benefit the survivors. Do NOT cleanse in the middle fountain, unless it's the last one available and you are trying to deny her the other four pools. Don't cleanse near a gen that is being worked on or where you think your teammates are. If there is a far away fountain that is not close to your objectives, that's definitely a good place to cleanse since she's gonna waste a considerable amount of time to get her power and to go back to the survivors to get value from it

I always feel alone not to cleanse. Worst, my teammates tend to cleanse then joining my generator for... being sick again. (Spread on generators also, guys! But no, everyone wanna be in the same place.) I even had a Bill who cleansed near my hook to come save me after, while I was infected myself. The reason to cleanse to be sick two seconds later? TT_TT

I had some absolute unit of a Nemesis face camp off first down and keep doing that until the end where I thought I was being cheeky waiting by exit gate. His terror radius leaves, I sneak out to go for an easy open exit gates only... HE IS RIGHT THERE!

Turns out he had Whispers and Insidious. Rofl. Guess you could easily get away with such a build if you never really intended to actually play.

Not cleansing at all can be just as detrimental as cleansing constantly, sometimes even more. If I have four broken survivors who can't hide and my default fountain is in a good spot I can often either end the game there or hit them hard enough that they won't recover.

There's a lot of things to consider, where her default corrupted fountain(s) is/are, where her clean fountains are, how interested she is in even using her powerups, how decent she is at being an m1 killer, and obviously what your teammates are doing (unfortunately one that cleanses every time they get a speck of vom on them is out of your control, but that's solo life for you)

Had a trapper who literally pretended to farm and killed off 2 people. After that me and my teammate somehow got 4 gens done with each of us having very long chases, the killer was quite bad. He was vaulting t l walls over and over. Too bad,he had noed.

Don't worry bro, you'll have bad nights and good nights too. Just try to have either fun :)
