Getting the crown

So how are you guys getting the crowns as solo survivor?

I find it really difficult in red ranks, so im kinda considering to derank unless you guys have some good tips?

    Surprisingly, I got them all rather quickly. I did have to prioritise getting crowns whenever I encountered them, even if in chase.

    Other than that, I just got really lucky, I guess.

    Rank reset helps quite a bit for getting games that you don't get flattened in. Other than that, perseverance. It's obnoxious and the escape requirement shouldn't be a thing, but you won't die in every game. Just... most of them, if your solo queue experiences are anything like mine.

    I collected all my crowns in solo queue and I found most of my success in matches where I wasn't visibly sweating to get them. If I came across the Crown early I would pick it up, but normally I wouldn't actively start looking until we were down to the last Gen.

    There were a couple of killers that let me out because I memed with them a bit (obviously don't meme of they're playing seriously as that could be seen as BM,) but there were also a few who seemed to appreciate when they were getting relatively normal matches among the tryhards and would ease up a bit by the end of the match to give us a better shot at getting out without throwing their entire game to let us all go.

    Ultimately I just went through my survivors one by one and would continue playing matches with them until I got out with the crown.

    Started the event at rank 5, found the last crown at rank 3 (I think with fluctuations I was within ranks 2-6 the entire time)

    Also worth mentioning : I think there were a few killers that noticed I had the Ps4 stutters and went a little easier on me than they otherwise would have in a non event setting.

    I got them on a few characters then gave up it was to much pain for me 😂

    That‘s really nice. Haven‘t had a single killer give me hatch or exit when I was sparkling, even if there was a DC. Everyone is tryhard and sweaty af and I just want to get my crown :(

    Yeah it's unfair that killers just have to find it and they get so much more cake. It's actually kind of outrageous how much easier this event is for killers. Just play selfishly. Use only perks that help you. It sucks but if you're using survivors you don't normally use anyway, I think it's just better to get it over with and then you can go back to playing normally.

    I am ya I have 6 or 7 survivors left to get them on. It is a grind though. My survivor rank is 9 atm so it's not too bad.

    Crowns, leave teammates behind in endgame don't be a hero, if you can let the last person die on hook and get hatch. Only use I've gotten out of left behind ever.

    Thanks for the advise guys but i just don't have the time to play 50+ games a day for getting the crown.. ( I guess im a terrible survivor) xD
