How often do Killer's lose (Red ranks)
I'm curious, how often do you lose. Like 3 or 4 escapes?
Are there certain Killer's you never lose with?
Are there Killer's you try to play at Red and get wrecked?

Escapes aren't very common in my games, ranks range from low green to low purple.
I might actually belong in red ranks, i just don't want to go there.
Always Wraith btw, been playing only him for years now. (Not counting exceptions like Daily Rituals & Archive challenges.)

I dont lose at red ranks that often. Killer is the power role thats probably why.

Rarely get more than a single one escaping, when it does happen it’s cause I screwed up.
Ive not lost with Bubba yet, and I do get clobbered when I try Nurse.

I won't let people escape if I can help it in my Killer games.
But escaping as a Solo Survivor in Rank 1 is a different story entirely.

I don't know, it depends on the survivors. Too much of a rainbow to really tell. If it's 4 rank 1's? They're probably escaping via genrushing. Might get 1 kill because they don't save their teammates.

at red ranks, i only escape once mabye every 10 games as survivor, i win most games as killer

I kept track of 50 games I played at rank 1/rank 2 as Wraith just before his most recent buff. When looking at the whole survivor pool, I had five, one kill games and three, zero kill games for a loss percentage of 16%. My kill percentage was 79.5%. Against full red rank teams, my kill percentage was 66%.

So far it seems Killer's are having good games at Red ranks and Survivors... not so much.
This has mostly been my experience as well. I quit playing as much as I used to because, I inevitably rank up to Purple / Red and the games get really miserable.
I feel like, if you've invested enough time to be Red rank Killer, you wreck most teams. Only a good SWF seems to be challenging.

So as suspected killer winrates are over 75% even in red ranks

Every experienced killer wins most of his matches even at rank 1. Even playing not so strong killers. I say this because i do, and i find ridicoulus how many killers complain about the game. Either they don't realize how many of their games they win and they can't handle to lose even 1/10 of the matches, or they just blame the game for their mistakes.

If I'm playing Hag or Twins and maybe clown/demo gonna 4k more often than not.
If I'm playing other killers I like but not as good with it's more often a 2k. Rarely 0k unless it's a full red rank SWF or I'm on a bad map with good solos like pig's pallet emporium.

you can thank the lack of MMR
when you're at red ranks you can only go down so games becomes uneven in the killer's favor, not to mention that a lot of survivor reach red ranks when they don't belong there (myself included).

Let's say 85% of my games are 4Ks or 3 with 1 hatch as a rank 1
Yes even with trickster.
2 -
Perhaps its the fact i have over 2.5k hours in this game, but i'd say a good 80-90% of my games are 4k's or 3k's with hatch escapes. A lot of the games where i fail is because of very good survivors or im just being really stupid. I Play basically every killer (except nurse and spirit) and can perform quite well with them.

You are clearly red :)

I can't wait for mmr.
I win enough to stay r1 but only because red ranks are not red ranks.
Kill rates are also useless because survivors don't need to escape to pip while killers do need to kill.
How many 3 man escapes turn i to a 1 or 2 man because everyone tried to save the guy on hook instead of leaving? I know i have done it knowing i got a pip anyway.

Pretty 50/50 for me with some that are very close to a 4K but they had a key.
I also experiment with different builds. I don’t run slow down builds that much.

I just don't wanna go there.

Loose? Like 0-1K? In DbD? As a killer? 🤣
With all seriousness... no, you almost never loose unless you run into a very sweaty comp team, which are extremly rare, even in red ranks.

Personally, I don’t lose at Red Ranks unless I’m limiting myself either by testing new builds or playing weaker Killers.
Even the sweatiest SWF is only walking out with 1-2 escapes when I’m at my best and if that happens its due to me playing sloppy and making misplays.
