As the info says, you probably can’t fix it yourself right now but the devs are aware of this issue and are working on a fix on their side

meanwhile, which platform are you on? Did you try to check local files (in steam rightclick on the game, and there should be an option to verify files) or did you try to delete and reinstall the game?

I verified. Uninstalled, restarted comp, installed. Installed on other harddrive. Nothing works.

:( yeah the error message implies that there is a problem with the save file which is not locally on your pc after all? Still worth to have tried I guess.
i think there is not much you can do now except for waiting for support response.
(maybe try to start the game on a family shared account to see if it runs that way? But that would be a fresh account and any progress wouldn’t be brought over to your main account…)

i wouldn’t expect your progress to be completely gone though, at least they said when talking about legacy cosmetics (as some players lost them and didn’t get them back) that they improved the way they are storing this kind of stuff iirc
