Flashbang vs Wraith

Gotta say it man, I love flashbangs but the actual topic is that these flashbangs are imo way to strong against wraith. I got recently the past few days alot of wraith's I dont know why though and fortunatly I used the Perk flashbang. The thing is that you can always burn a Wraith in cloak with them, there is almost nothing the Wraith can do about it since the range of them is pretty good and he only has about 2 seconds to react and run for his life.

Always when the Wraith appeared he it was a free stun and for me or the ppl around me a easy escape. I think there needs to be done something in order to make it more fair.

I love it vs Wraith. Yesterday I got a taste of my own medicine xD.

Currently doing 50 games with every Killer, learn their basepower and master it (not win streak) except Trapper and Ghostface. Trapper needs a bag basekit and GF needs faster recovery.

Started with Wraith yestetday and got a cheeky Leon on Haddonfield who burned my ass.

Just stop crying already. The perk is weak enough as it is. Just because it's somewhat not completely trash against Wraith it doesn't mean it should be nerfed.

I play Wraith and I know what you mean.

However Flashbang is not up that often and I just consider it bad luck when I run into one. While it is pretty strong as it is a stun bomb against him I think we need to give this more time. Let Wraith players adept and get used to Flashbang and see with what counters they come up.

I always tell survivors that they need to adapt to the new Wraith and as such it is only fair game to say that the Wraith also has to improve his game.

Got a question. Is it better to try to just run away from the thing or get behind a wall or object.

    It's the counter Survivors need.

He's too damn fast to try to flashlight anymore.

As long as it's a tall enough object you can use it but try to avoid using objects with gaps, like the couple of thin trees you see often in Red Forest.

Which tactic you want to use moreso depends on the situation.

I prefer to take a wide angle around the blast area and take the direction which would be more profitable to me.

Using objects is really only the safer solution if they drop it while looping, and even then it's risky to use objects if it's a loop with low walls.

But they can indeed be the better choice since you won't have to do a retreat or wide angle.

It's fine, it counters Wraiths who just use their cloak to close the chase gap quickly and does next to nothing if they actually surprise the survivor. I think it burning him the way it currently does is perfectly fine, Wraith is stupidly easy to play and pretty much the new Freddy so it's fine to have a perk that easily stuns him and gives the survivor a chance to make it to a loop.

I think lightburn is an outdated mechanic.

I'll tell you how it is. Remember when they changed Trapper's traps so that they couldn't be sabotaged by Saboteur or toolboxes because the devs didn't want certain items having extra advantages against certain killers? Flashlights and flashbangs being able to lightburn is the same thing, just a different item. Same with Hag's traps and Nemesis's zombies. Why does an already-good item need to also directly counter multiple killers just because these stupid mechanics exist?

It only counters 2 killers (one barely) and if Wraith is smart he can easily bait out Flashbangs, his speed isnt just for show

But the fact that they can be countered by an item is the problem. And I'm not talking about, for example, medkits as a counter vs hit and run Wraith, because he can decide to commit to someone and not let them self-heal. They're denied the use of their item for as long as he's on them, which is a trade-off because he gives up pressure on everyone else. But flashbangs and flashlights can be used in midchase, even stunning him which is like an on-the-go pallet drop where they get huge distance. It's just not fair that no other killer gets affected like that.

Again, Wraith is more than capable of evading the burn, he is FAST, if you decide to stay still or not use objects to cover, thats on you.

Also Wraith isnt the only one, theres Hag as well with her Traps, Nurse also has the burn effect, could also add how perks counter specific killers hard, such has Spine Chill working against stealth killers.

If you hear the survivor in front of you drop a flashbang, stop uncloaking and either run through it or step backwards depending on the flashbang's distance from you. It's not like letting the survivor gain distance is a problem when Wraith counters holding W better than any other killer.
