The deathslinger tho

Just unlocked him for the perks bc I want hex retribution but decided to go ahead and play him bc I have 25 cakes so why not ya know?

Ouch! Lmao. The survivors don't want to get speared and will do anything to avoid it, even close the gap wiggling and du king by trees to and getting m1 hits. It's crazy.

I had an Adam wiggle around and duck by everything around him everytime I brought my gun up. Couldn't keep him in my center at all. Not even quick scopes. I ended up just smacking him.

But I want to get better with the gun not smack them. He's pretty tough to learn when they wiggle around so much.

I can't speak as a DS main, but the general strategy when facing a MethSlinger is to be ruthless when healthy and preemptive when injured.

If you want them to give you more opportunity to train your shots, let them heal and slow down the game in other manners so that you can take your time.

Yup, most survivors wiggle too much giving you a free hit which is much worse then getting speared.

I miss every shot as DS, lol.

But wiggling is good, keep practicing on a moving target and sooner or later, your tracking should improve and the shots will flood in.

If you practiced on still.l targets then I'd feel you'd have a harder time improving.

I remember playing Legion and not really good at chaining hits, but after sooo many misses I'm now a pretty good slasher.

Wish you the best of luck though!

Pro tip: aim for the survivors hips. The movement of a survivor is not as pronounced at the hips. But at the same time, if a survivor is wiggling, the Deathslinger closes the gap a lot quicker.

It's simple when you get the hang of it. If they spend a bunch of time dodging, they're slowing themselves down which means you can walk up and hit then normally. If they see that's what you're doing and start simply running in a straight line again, then you shoot them.

As a DS main, don't be cowed by your survivors being uppity. Practice your aim, learn to no scope (And when to no scope), learn to hold when the survivor likes to watch his rearview mirror, and if they start getting cute with you shoot them in the face over small height objects.

Don't let them think being cute is an effective survival strategy. You're a hunter and they're just a bunch of rabbits who don't know they're dead yet.

Post Thought: Don't be afraid to miss. Testing your limits is a good way to figure out how to pull off better shots in the future.
