Mending is way too fast
2. How in the heck does Deep Wounds “mend” faster than actual healing? There’s no skill checks like snapping out of it, there’s nothing that warrants the short time.
Here’s how mending should be mended:
1. Increase the time to mend by 100%.
2. If not 1, then there should be smaller random skill checks.
3. Healing after mending uses up more heal charges and extends self care by 50%

There also needs to be some punishment for not healing otherwise no one heals against him and his spread pressure is basically rendered pointless.

In my opinion, the deep wound timer should go down while you mend, but not kill you. It should instead only kill you if you then stop mending. So, if you stop mending for something and the deep wound timer has reached the bottom, you will automatically be put into dying. This will improve the idea of deep wound because it doesn’t make it so easy to escape. It is a killer’s power after all. If the legion began coming towards you while you were mending but if you stopped you would be put into dying state. It would be tense as it would be a race between you mending and the legion finding you. This game is supposed to be a horror game so the tension is the sort of thing we need. Killers aren’t scary anymore.
I also think that you shouldn’t be able to med halfway and the rest after. If you stop mending, the progress bar should be reset. This adds an extra challenge to deep wound and makes it a bit less pointless. Right now, survivors can just mend straight away after a chase and be perfectly fine.
I think both of these changed along with the ones mentioned in the original post here could turn this useless status effect into something that can actually be a threat to survivors.

This is already how mend currently works.

I can understand Mending being this speed for Borrowed Time. That being said, Legion by default, should make it take longer since it's their mechanic.0

Mending should have hard skill checks in the manner of taking the bear trap off your face. But hey, it's a survivor game so let's make it easy for them. -_-0
