Hag not being able to hit after a teleport is a terrible idea we already saw fail.
As we all agree the ability of Hag to place 7 of her trap around the hooked person and create a loose-loose situations for survivors absolutely needs to be changed. Hag mains including myself believe so also. Although only baby Hags use it. Yet, someone said another change she needs is she's too strong and shouldn't be able to hit after a teleport. I'm sorry that is perhaps the worst idea I ever heard proposed to a killer change. Because we already saw that idea in action. And it failed terribly and Hag was one of the worst killers in the game. So that idea is bringing back a failed mechanic that put a killer in the F tier. God awful idea. The person said oh we just make her able to chase. Which would still make her suck because not be able to deliver multiple hits with her trap means she has no snowball potential which equals no 1v4 potential. We don't need more killers with a focus on chase we had Deathslinger, Pyramid Head, Nemesis. And countless others. The only change Hag needs is to her hardcore camping making her not able to hit after a teleport and giving her chase would add another boring generic killer to the roster that already has many chase focused killers. This idea would make her another Freddy with a killer's core identity ruined. Yes, this was a kind of rant since I don't my main ruined after seeing them come so far. Just watch old Hag gameplay to see how this idea already failed.

That's like removing Blight ability to do damage with a Rush. Her traps are her way of downing survivors.

Ngl the thing I hate is the camera focusing on the trap. Like jeez is that necessary? It gets me a headache everytime

I personally don't like Hag but that's a terrible, terrible way of balancing her. It would absolutely kill her.

Its is because if it was not of that her ability would not work for hit but only to get close to the survivor if you are far and usrless in loop

I just think killers are extremely inconsistent. It's lame that Hag has 10 traps on command but Trapper can only hold 1 and can't teleport. Either nerf Hag to be competitive with Trapper or buff Trapper to be competitive with Hag. At this point Hag is just a 20x better Trapper.

We need more non chase oriented killers, they keep Survivors from being able to run a single meta load out for every match. Hag has enough setbacks without removing functions which make the killer viable.

How does setting traps create a lose-lose situations for survivors, and yet only beginners do it? Like, one of those statements has to be false.

It creates a lose-lose situation to get the unhook because if you rush it you are going to set off the traps, if you crouch you take ages to get there and the hag has time to come back without using the traps. Only beginners do it because placing 7 traps around the same hook is overkill, and you are not managing well your traps
An expert Hag might place one trap around the hook to slow down a survivor going for the unhook, while using the other 9 to create a web around the map, being way more efficient than a beginner

She should have something to give survivors genuine counterplay to her traps. At least Trapper's can be disabled.

I think this was probably suggested as an answer to macro Hags, which is something that needs to be looked into, having the Hag teleport instantly after someone activates a trap is kind of dumb.

The only change that's needed outside of placing traps around hooks is that the trigger area needs to be a little bit clearer.
So it's more obvious you can trigger the trap at it's farthest point and then back off
Also tooltips that you can crouch the trap pls

The only thing I want is a trap limit within so many meters of the hook and the inability to use scroll wheel as your teleport prompt because people just cheese that damn scroll wheel the whole time while running around for an instant teleport and it should be more of something you push AFTER getting notified of the trap instead of just cheesing it the whole game for insta teleports

what about a cooldown beetween teleports as her iridiscent addon does? (and deleting that penalty from the addon)
and would be really fun turn the ones with collision into IA's who move and hit xd

I think traps only trigger if Survivors run near traps. Walking triggers them is a bit too much, make it impossible to escape from basement.
Plus add some action to remove her trap, 2sec animation would do.

You can disarm/remove hag traps already.
Just remember where a traps is, come closer, trigger it on purpose at the border of it's activation radius and run away. Hag cannot get you when trying to instahit you.

You can already activate them from a safe distance and keep running away out of lunge range. Unless you are in a massive dead zone you will manage to get to a pallet or window due to her 110% speed pretty much guaranteed.
She kinda has twins style counterplay, a teammate needs to set off traps to have longer chases for other survivors. Similar how the counter to twins is to take hits for vic.

I think flashlights, firecracker, flashbangs ,blastmine already do that. But yeah, I think u should be able to. Crouch up close and wipe it away. Like you can do to victor

Yes because she is so slow and really needs this. That said Hag is fine so no need to remove anything from her, no matter what people say about traps close to hooks. Deal with it!

Whilst it may be inefficient to do so, a player can place three traps around a hook and tunnel or get a hook grab. Either way, it's a lose-lose situation for survivors.
