God, I'm starting to despise this event
It feels like whatever side I end up playing, I'm going to get ######### over somehow. Either by my teammates, either by the Killer being #########, either by not getting points, either by getting ######### over with bugs and lag stutters.

I do, but usually moris are a sign the Killer themselves are going to play extra scummy in the match.
And the Killer WAS extra scummy.
Thankfully, to the obsession, not me. She had Rancor and was trying her hardest to kill the obsession and camped every hook she could to make sure she got people to second stage.

I mean they could also just be doing a challenge but I get it I guess. Also yeah this event has massively destroyed my motivation to play

Dude you got 4 cakes... How could you be complaining? Compare that to any normal day of dbd, that's like 4 or 5 games worth of BP in one game.

I'm not complaining I got 4 cakes, I'm complaining the match wasn't as fun because the Killer decided to go out of their way to ruin it for someone.

Moris do nothing now, honestly they can sometimes be even worse because the mori animation can be really long.

Moris do nothing, but it really indicates the killer's intention this match. You don't bring a mori and think "Oh, I hope to have fun now."
You bring a mori because you want to find a way to drag the game out for as long as humanly possible while playing Spirit with Mother-Daughter add-ons.

I'll give you that. But that doesn't make these Killers (or Survivors for that matter) any less frustrating to face just because they had a challenge.

This, only the survivors gen rush and leave early. I am not saying we need to farm, but maybe we all could have gotten a bit more value out of those 4 cakes if they weren't more into playing a stealth based QTE.

I play survivor, I get tunneled out first thing.
I play killer, I get survivors who don't want to farm and rush through gens. I had a crapton of DCs today; either I be totally friendly and never touch anyone or I try to get hooks and they DC. Man, when I was survivor I was so happy to get a non-lethal killer, I'd be running up to the hooks with my friend and we'd be pointing and yay! Bloodpoints. That happened like... I dunno, three times or something. And we played for days.
Karma's a lie, I never get survivors like me as killer or killers like me as survivor.
Cakes need a stipulation on them: if the player who burned it earns fewer than 15k Bloodpoints, no one gets the multiplier and the cake returns to the player's inventory. A few times I accidentally killed someone who burned a cake and I felt really bad about it, the lack of real hook counters for killers is still total BS.

I agree. I think a much more fun event would be a flat 200% extra bloodpoints. Theres always some memelord who brings a personal cake, but benefits from the groups 4x cakes.
Or im the only one who brings one
