Forced Penance bug or intended?
Hello there.
Last game I played we were against a Deathslinger with this perk. He picked up a teammate under a pallet and I dropped the pallet to save my mate. Then I could run away and killer chased after me to finally down me.
The thing is: I got the "broken" status effect for dropping the pallet. But Forced Penance is supposed to proc on protection hits, not pallet saves. Also he downed me in one hit like if I was exposed.... but I just had the broken status effect (while having a healthy state).
To me it sounds like a bug. I didn't take a "protection hit" and I don't see how having the "broken" status while being healthy should have the same effect as exposed. The game probably intepreted me as injured because of the broken effect?
What do you think about it?

Likely a bug.
Also it was probably caused by WGLF update when killer grasp saves became another way to gain stacks - apparently rather than creating a new type of events for WGLF, those were just coded to count as "protection hit" type of action. FL save should work in a similar fashion then.
