For all the killers that say you cant do anything against Blast Mine
If you look on top of a gen there is a flashbang that you can see if the gen has a mine active.

Doesnt really matter to me, if I need to kick it with Pop, nade just makes it take longer but it wont stop me.
And I am pretty sure both survivors and killer can see it

You are givin a choice. Touch it and get stunned or do something else till it’s over. It’s like repressed alliance

Ok, so you see it, the options are take the blast or forfeit the gen. I don't know if any actions the killer can take to counter it other than waiting it out, all the while other gens are progressing.

My prefered method of dealing with it is to have a nice cup of tea next to me.
And take a sip when i get hit by it.
5 seconds is the perfect amoumt of time to enjoy a sip before going back to the game

Ok... yet now what, stand there for 40 seconds babysitting one gen while it does not regress? If you have pop just let it end and not use it?

And if you don't touch the gen, the survivor gets to place the mine down again basically immediately.
But honestly even if killers can see the mine (which I'm not sure on), killer size influences this. Ghostface for example is a medium height and while he can see the top of a gen, the angle is likely not enough to see the mine since killers have 1st person cameras. Hag I imagine can't see the top of the gen either.
I don't have a problem with the perk conceptually, but 5 seconds of blindness and stun is a lot especially when you have to then kick the gen again since it cancels the kick.

Why exactly would this perk need a direct counter? It’s just a short stun/blind and doesn’t even prevent you from kicking the gen directly after that… it has limited uses (well theoretically not but the surv has got to sit a long time on a gen for one activation)..

Nah nah you are supposed to get blinded/stunned by it then the survivor comes along with Repressed and locks the gen doesn't so you can't Pop it because the timer on Pop is so short. So as a killer just take the stun and blind up the ass. GG fun game.

Blast Mine isn't that powerful, it just hinders the killer for a few seconds. At best your saving like 3 seconds.

I feel like they keep the stun animation & deaf effect, remove the blind effect and replace with exhausted effect like Nurse. Enough to cover the view, but not causing headace.

Just eat the 3 second stun. Its such a mennial amount of time lost and barely matters anyway, and its not like survivors really use it to run. Most people using blast mine like to stick around and watch you witness the full power of the sun

I just find the blinding extremely desnecessary. Everything that blinds killers, including flashbangs, come with a sound or visual indicator that you are about to experience that white screen, meanwhile Blast Mine is just there BOOM. It's super annoying on dark maps where you are already straining your eyes to see.
It should just have been a stun. What good is blinding a killer that is on a gen anyway?

i am all for accessibility setting and changing the blind for Killers definitely belongs to it, but you can easily avoid it and the survs can’t know that it is affecting you in that way.

Been running it since the chapter came out. It has given me so many free hits and downs! It's funny how someone thinks they can get a flashlight save and keep trying even after I whack them once. It's my new favorite killer perk since almost every lobby has one or two flashlights.

I mean, usually people running Blast Mine will be running flashlights or flashbangs, might as well use Lightborn if you see 2 of those suckers as it is a dead giveaway what kind of players they are. If it is just a solo who likes blinding you, I say just eat the stun.
