Idea for next Valentine's Day: Date by Daylight
As Killer: If you carry a survivor to the hatch and they accept the hatch, both you and the survivor gain bonus bloodpoints and a Heart charm.
As survivor: If you accept a hatch that a killer carried you to, gain bonus bloodpoints and a Heart charm. Also, a person on your team will randomly be marked as your Valentine. Performing cooperative or supportive actions with this person will give the both of you doubled bloodpoint values. The Valentine is randomly selected, unless you are in a duo premade.
If you are in a Trio premade or larger, the random selection will only pick between your premade and not include the fourth person. However, the fourth person will still be Valentine'd with someone in your premade, but it will only work on their end.
Certain specific Killer + Survivor couples gain even more bonus bloodpoints. For example:
- Legion and Cheryl Mason
- Huntress and Tapp
- Trickster and Yun-Jin
And more.
These specific combinations will also have their own charms. Frank and Cheryl will have their own chibi couple charm, as well as Huntress and Tapp and Trickster and Yun-Jin.
(No unique items or other game mechanics since BHVR has stated in the past that events aside from Halloween and Anniversary will not be significant)

Gonna be honest, I was a bit disappointed because I thought you were going to request a visual novel dating sim (like Lovers of Aether). But I do think a Valentine's day event could be good, but I don't think that's the way it should go.
Imagine if during EGC a new event item which can't be taken out of a trial, called "Cupid's Arrow", would spawn around the map. You can't use it on yourself, but you can use it on another survivor (doesn't give them the charm), and if that survivor also uses a Cupid's Arrow on you as well both of you get the charm (looks kinda like this 💗) (Survivor doesn't need to escape to get charm, they just need to be in love with another survivors who also loves them)
Meanwhile, if the Killer kills someone in love they get a charm as well (looks kinda like this 💔)
Despite charms only being obtainable through one side, the charms are universal so both sides can use the charms

I would like frilly lingerie for the killers, please. Yes, all of them.

Clearly I give the trapdoor to the most innocent survivor in the game to show my love.

My suggestion was for DBD because this is a DBD forum, if this was a forum about BHVR products in general then I can see why you would have assumed that it was an idea for a visual novel. The Cupid's Arrow suggestion is cute, although the Killer shouldn't be rewarded for killing the Arrow'd or Valentine'd survivor. It's an event about togetherness and closeness. The killer should be rewarded for killing everyone except the survivor they love.

I mainly did the killer thing because I kinda wanted a Broken Heart charm, although in hindsight it's fair to say Valentine's day is NOT the day to add it.
Since killer can't pick up items, if a Survivor stabs a killer with Cupid's arrow and they escape both get a charm as well. I do want 2 charms but heartbroken charm obviously makes no sense, so how about if a Survivor and Killer fall in love it's a realistic looking human heart as a charm (still shows love, but is a bit disturbing)
