Where the [BAD WORD] do you find these god tier survivors? All I get are Claudettes who hide on the out skirts of the map, megs who kill themselves on hook and baby dwights! I'm on red ranks! If I got one of those god tier teams, I'll think I'm dreaming. SoloQ has left me with two options, either complete half a gen and everyone's on death hook all of a sudden OR take a long [BAD WORD] chase, a tunnel and no gens pop. I dont like playing a swf cause the info is way to strong. So what is left for me? Have a nice day!

You asked where these god tier survivors were. Based on my answer I think you can infer that they don't play solo q.

I wish I had your problems. I haven't seen a potato since leaving the Green Ranks.

The really good survivors are rare. Most players are going to be somewhere around average, as is the nature of a bell curve. If you want to find the best survivors you need amazing luck.

No problem. To be honest, solo Q can be quite frustrating.

I would say, try to find some people along the way to SWF with. They could just be randoms you had a really good game with.

That or don't take surviving seriously and just meme around. That makes solo q much more enjoyable and really removes most of the frustration. Although I guess it really takes at least a few hundred hours under your belt before memeing starts becoming fun.

Personally I haven't seen a god tier team in weeks, usually I get babies which is annoying. Only time I see good survivors is when I'm playing with friends

I see god-tier Survivors very rarely. I also see competent Survivors very rarely.

The "average" DBD player is really bad at the game. Literally; on average, a DBD player sucks a lot.

I think a lot of it also depends on the day of the week and the time of day you play. Remember that a SWF has more logistics involved in scheduling, 4x the people equals 4x the potential conflicts. If you are playing during work hours, school hours, or some ungodly time in the late night, you are lessening you chances.

You can also jump Lobbies to FIND a SWF. Just leave until you get one where all 4 people warped in at the SAME time. This is not guaranteed but highly increases your odds that they joined from a Lobby where they mustered up together.

I think from the perspective of people who are "good"

If you wanted to win, you have tons of hours in the game and probably have made a bunch of friends along the way. So you would just SWF.

If you didn't care about winning, you could play solo Q. But if you're going into the game without the mentality to win, then you might as well meme, run around and not do generators. You're still really good, but you aren't helping your team win.

    tldr; i'm boosted garbage.

Imo either red ranks or sometimes if you are unlucky in the brown ranks. Sometimes some swf's derank on purpose, like killers do it also from time to time.

    It's just a random thing.

Not every good Survivor plays in a full SWF; I play solo queue or duo (when I play Survivor) and have gotten some AMAZING teammates. It's just that these people are rare.

Additionally, even one bad teammate can throw the game for everyone (that Meg that throws every pallet on the map and then kills themselves, that Dwight that does every generator on one side of the map while you're being chased, or that Jake who hook bombs and gets grabbed) because of just how easy it can be for a good Killer to snowball. This is a team game; it doesn't matter how strong you are if there's a weak link the Killer can break.

ALSO, even super good players can mess up. You might get an otherwise really good Survivor that makes a mistake and gets face camped to death. Or maybe it's a really off day for them and they make blunder after blunder. That happens too.

It entirely depends on your rank, MMR, region and time of day. However I do tend to find more God squads than potatoes.

Like some other responses I'd suggest mucking about with what time you play.

SWF. It is far more common to come across 2/3/4/2+2 survivor SWF teams as killer than as survivor, for extremely obvious reasons. It's easy to forget, as a solo player with mostly solos/2-person SWF in their teams, that that's not the average experience for killers.

Edit: I shoul clarify before anyone tries to bash me for blaming SWF... It's not a bad thing. It's just how it is: Comms make otherwise panic-prone survivors good, and SWF players ar emkre likely to be better in general because they have more reasons to continue playing to reach that higher skill.

I only play solo and I consider myself to be a pretty decent player. I’ve gotten to red rank but generally hang out in purple. I don’t play groups because I’d rather not use a mic. I talk all day at work so the last thing I want to do is talk while I play. I have some kick a** games and really bad ones. Maybe if solo could be designed a little different, an extra perk for all perhaps, it could be better.

This post is old, but the question was answered in the OP. SWF is where I find most good survivors. Even solo rank 1s cannot do much of you snowball off the potatoes.
