How to make Haddonfield fair for both sides?
So just random thought how would you make Haddonfield fair for both sides so it's not extremely survivor sided like it is and not to killer sided if it gets a re-work I know most people would say remove the vaults and all that but other then that any other ideas that aren't disable the map.

Delete the map.

Delete the windows on every 2nd floor and replace them with open walkways.

Get rid of those infinity fences.

I agree the infinity fences should go bye bye

The fences need to be removed and some house tiles re-arranged so it's similar to Badham in a way. But main point are the fences, I hate them as a Survivor trying to go for unhooks and have to run around two Great Walls of China every time

my whole time playing haddonfield I just want that god window in the basement completely removed , it take no skill to infinitely loop that window making every killer except for wraith and spirit or nurse frustrating to play

I know we all have our solutions for it but I genuinely believe this is the only real solution.
Delete the map and create a new one that is more fair for both sides.

Chapel and Ormond seem pretty fair to me.

Make the fences and bushes more tame, replace the vault locations in the god houses with open walkways, and make the house of pain (the underground stairway in one of the houses) actually balanced.

Ormond is massive and only a few of the loops are waist-high. If you're against someone like Trickster or Slinger, just avoid the low snow pile loops and the bench loops. There's plenty of jungle gyms and other LOS blockers.

Honestly, i think it's the unique way...
Look at the last maps (reworked farms and the RPD), awesome textures, high quality props, good atmosphere...but there is no level design.

Tighten the fence area so you can hit over the fence all the time. Pog.

It can be tough for the killer but I try to prioritize the easier to guard gens and try to remember the spots where you can walk around on the roof. Someone relies heavily on the better loops I try to catch them a little further away and they'll get priority when I have a choice of who to follow. Seems to work for me a fair amount of the time.

Vaults aren't what make Haddonfield survivor-sided.
Ormond is pretty survivor-sided IMO. Chapel is a better example.

So what makes everyone think that there will be big changes and not just slapping a new coat of paint on the turd that is Haddontrash?

Nothing. We're just trying to be optimistic. They cannot be oblivious to the fact that its one of the most controversial maps when it comes to balance. So we're hoping they'll correct that.

You optimism is admirable. Ok so lets say that the devs do see something that they could change. How much of the decision would be the devs and how much would be the license holders though?

I've no idea about these things. I would assume visuals is what would be the license holder's end of things. Gameplay wise would be the devs. But they seem to be on decent terms with the Halloween people. Apparently they have recently renewed the Halloween license. And Laurie got a pretty good visual rework.

Remove the house of pain. Remove some of the god windows. Move some of the generators around. Remove all the great fences of Haddonfield.

Pray it gets the Ormond treatment,
