Giving up at Endgame

I've taken to employing the "corner in the basement" move once endgame is triggered. Particularly when the game matches me with a team that is clearly above my skill level with multiple flashlights and adrenaline perks and I get destroyed the entire game. I already know I did terrible, why should I subject myself to trolling, t-bagging losers once it's already obvious I'm 0k-ing a game?

It happens EVERY time too. It's like the less people you killed in a trial, the more ######### all the remaining survivors act. It's extra annoying too when they don't take the hint that I'm not showing up and I have to go afk for two whole minutes while they camp in the door until the last second just to waste my time.

Honestly same. I don't feel like demeaning myself by going over to the exit gates to watch the survivors teabag. I don't go in the basement but just the middle of the map.

A lot of people on here, including me, aren't toxic at the end in the gate. I tend to nod at the killer if they seem respectful, but that's not reciprocated 99% of the time.

I think you need to start doing endgame builds.

Use NoEd, Blood Warden, Remember Me, and one other perk of your choice. Then pretend you are an AFK killer by running a macro on your LMB.

When the gens are almost done or when one of the survivors find you and starts dancing in front of you and flickig your face wtih a flashlight, whack him hard, put him on the hook, then mop up the rest of the peons.

There have been times when I’ve played against such a toxic team that when the last gate is open I just take my hands away from the keyboard and go get a drink or something. I don’t really feel like chasing them just so they can flashlight blind me some more.

I understand it's definitely not everyone. I don't do it myself either. It just feels like it when you play killer. All it takes is one surv tbagging at the end to sour the match.

It's something I could certainly try. I would say my current build is a mid game, and I seem to fluxuate between 4k and 0k. There's like no in between. I can either completely stall the game at the 2 gen mark, or I get superlooped and genrushed.

Can prolly chalk some of that up to the mmr. I get games at my level and then after a couple 4ks it goes "oh, this is way to easy!" And pits me with multiple red ranks in which I stand no chance.

This game has always had matchmaking problems. It's the biggest source of complaints for this game.

I get it too. What I do in the case that they sit there is I go around using my power to get points while they sit there wasting time getting nothing. It a lil thing I do to say ahaha you wasted 2 whole minutes of your life while I went around breaking pallets and topping off my Deviousness points.

If survivors want to stay and wait out the clock then they can fill their boots and waste their own time.

Sometimes I think they think they are wasting my time but I am usually in the kitchen getting a drink or snack ^^ Gates are open and all survivors are alive, what else am I going to do?

Honestly it doesn’t bother me when survivors do it because I can spam my power and get bloodpoints.

Lol but no I understand it can be annoying I mean it’s like if everyone is safe than what are you still doing in the game?

devour hope saved my ass in endgame once so the collapse had already started. I chase one of the 2 Claudettes out of the exit gate. the bill gets out as well. Then I find the other Claudette and down her instantly due to DH. I hook her and the Kate comes around and saves her I go back to the hook but they're already gone. so I run to the exit gate that is open. The Kate is running to that gate as well but she gets there before me. And the endgame collapse finishes killing both Claudette and Kate and when I get back to that gate I see Kate being taken by the entity in the area. She was about to make it out but the endgame collapse finished right before she did.

Once I hear the endgame timer go off

If I am last survivor, I just go afk, can't be bothered to try to escape that crap

And as killer, unless I have someone hooked or am already chasing an injured person, I also go afk and tab out until it's over

    Screw the endgame

I'll come down to the basement and you can sacrifice me if you want 😥

You know, I usually let the last one out through the exit gate, if they weren't playing toxic or scummy. But sometimes, the last one won't touch any gate, even when I'm chilling at the opposite site of the map.

I'll always advice survivors to try to escape. If the killer kills you for it, so what, the entity would have done the same when the timer runs out. But you always have a slight chance that the killer might actually be nice and let you out. Don't let that go to waste just bc of your "pride" or whatever.

To be honest, it seems much more pathetic to allow 4 people to force you into a position when you just go afk, because they're "mean".

I feel ya. There will be matches that went badly, and I know there's no way to make any ground by that point.

Instead of waiting in the basement, though, go and break pallets/walls that had dropped. At the very least, you earn some extra bp.

If you don't want to escort the survivors out, I would just go around breaking pallets, breakable walls and spamming your ability if it grants points to pass the time.

In bad games, I try to down a person in the end game, then I hard camp them. Its not nice, its not pretty, it doesn't always work, but its an attempt to please the entity.

You should start going to the exit gates. You’d be surprised how many survivors you can grab before they crawl out, I’ve done it myself and I’ve seen sooo many videos. They get karma

It can be hard to feel defeated but dont give up. There is always an opportunity to get better and improve.

The Tbagger of today will be a sacrificed tomorrow.
