I have a good PC I can start the game pretty quick
2 -
I will use the offering as much as I can. And thank god you belong to the minority of people who are too stubborn to learn something new, holy #########..
2 -
Maybe i love this map or maybe i wanna get good at this map? Maybe i never played on this map and i wanna try? Sometimes i hate The Game and Coldwind but i am not dc'ing when i get this maps. Just don't be kid.
3 -
I don't think it's going to be a minority.
4 -
Sorry but I wont support BHVR's terrible map design and I have no sympathy for anyone intentionally bringing me to that map
4 -
And I hope you get camped for it or if you're the killer, idk you're obviously a masochistic have fun with it.
2 -
I hope not maybe bhvr will actually do something then
0 -
You’re childish and not worth discussing with. Bye
1 -
Says the person trying to force others to play something they hate.
5 -
Play a different game, if you don’t like dbd’s content.
3 -
Okey then, never add penalty times again? Another guy will dc because of Wraith. Another guy will dc because survivors finished gens so fast. Other guy will dc because survivors were good at loop etc. This map will stay and it is not bad like people crying about.
1 -
Why is it ok for some people to be forced to play against something they hate, but not others?
I see people all the time saying "you're not gonna like every match/killer/map, just deal with it and move on to the next game", so why does that not apply here?
The fact is, everyone is going to dislike something in this game. Either everyone should deal with it, or everyone should be able to DC/go afk/die on first hook/etc. And I don't need to tell you why the second option isn't the ideal one.

Thank god, I can finally use up all of my offerings for that map.

Stop trying to force others to do what you want. You know the vast majority hate this map, yet you try to force it on them anyways. So how are you any better than people who don't want to play it?
2 -
Because entitled people only care for their own opinion.
For them, it is ok to be entitled and say that they wont play on the RPD-Map and that others are "forcing" them to play on it.
But it is the worst if someone else says that they dont like something.
1 -
There is a difference between random chance giving you something you dislike and other players actively forcing it on you. Random chance gives you a bad map or killer you dislike, hey thems the breaks. Others going out of their way to play things they know are almost unanimously hated is different.
2 -
No, there is no difference. "Thems the breaks" applies to any game you play with other people. Play the game normally or don't play at all.
0 -
How there is difference? You don't like RPD map and leaving. And i don't like Spirit and leaving. Which part is different? Spirit player forcing me to play against her? Maybe i don't wanna play never ever against Spirit? Which part is different?

It's like a 4 man swf taking the killer to Haddonfield. You are deliberately trying to make others miserable. Or at the least have no consideration for your fellow players. So yes, there is a difference.
2 -
Finally, I can get the main hall gen trophy. It sucks to be a trophy hunter and have only one trophy missing because it’s tied to something that very rarely showed up. I had the other RE chapter trophies done within the first week of release except this one.
0 -
The killer you get is random luck of the draw for you. Map offerings are a deliberate choice.
3 -
And one can argue the same against anyone for any reason. I can tell you you're "deliberately trying to make me miserable" because you play killer X Y Z, who I hate. That doesn't mean I get free reign to just go afk or dc.

Finally time to burn those anti-map offerings !
3 -
Actually nobody knows if the vast majority hate this map. All I've seen is a handful of the same people on here, which is no way a majority of players playing this game, complaining about a map that has had very little rotation because of bugs that cause crashes. I played a lot of survivor on the PTB almost exclusively on RPD and enjoyed it and didn't escape every time. Since the chapter went live I've only gotten to play on it twice; once as Deathslinger while trying to do a daily and got partially wrecked but still finished the daily, and the other time as survivor against a laggy huntress hitting me well around corners so I gave up on 2nd hook because of the killer, not the map.

actually it’s both a choice. You choose to play a certain killer and you choose to use a certain (map) offering. It’s okay to not like the choice but it’s not okay to DC immediately. Especially when RPD is a NEW map that people want to experience, not to make other people have a bad time playing.
0 -
No they both are same.
You are choicing Spirit before search lobby. But you know most of people hates Spirit. So you wanna make people sad? Then i will not accept this and i will dc. This is clearly same.
People can play with any killer they wanna. Also people can use offerings for their fav maps. Just don't be child more and get better on this map.

That's why Map offerings might work better as secret offerings. Or it might be better, if offerings aren't officially know at all. It just add to a toxic mindset, that make you think "Oh. My opponent is wishing for that map. Wonder how they wanna exploit that." Starting the match already with a negative mind.
I've seen myself doing that. Saw it on other. Doesn't matter if survivor or killer. Maybe killer players do it more often. which just comes from the general nature of the game. Might make the community slightly better.
2 -
I'm not going to continue arguing this. We clearly aren't going to agree.
The response has been overwhelmingly negative with a handful of positive comments. Can it be said to be hated definitively? No, but we can make a reasonable assumption based on the feedback.
1 -
There's no agreement to be had, you're literally breaking game rules by purposely not playing the game normally. You are in the wrong.
0 -
i'd rather they just be removed
1 -
If you drop out in the loading screen you are not breaking any rules.
Agreed. I wish map offerings would be deleted.
2 -
Well guess I'll be running map offerings for the next lil bit in hopes of 50/50ing it and not getting on it. If I do get on it, I'll play it out. But I'll do everything I can not to. Have fun.

It’s part of DBD. It’s not forcing anything. Using that stance, anyone playing an offering for any map, the chances are someone isn’t going to like it, thus forcing someone to play something they don’t like. You’re playing a game to enjoy it - regardless of the map, etc. Some people have favourite maps, maps they like more, and maps they aren’t so fond of.
what I find funny about people who want to DC on certain maps is that they just won’t get better with those maps. Same goes for DCing against certain killers, perks etc. If you want to ragequit like a child then don’t expect to get better. And if you want to throw your toys out of the pram because it isn’t EXACTLY to your liking - go and play something single player where you can put it on easy and don’t have to learn or adapt.

well, survs have no beef with sending me to Haddonfield or Cornwind, so yeah, I honestly couldn't care less what they think.
1 -
I have like 40 of these on my Jake time to use them
