Spirit's playrate will drop substantially
Stridor was the only reason Spirit had an average play rate. It made her accessible to people that didn't main her.
Now she's probably going to have similar stats to Nurse. No one plays her but mains do very well.

The few of the strongest killers shouldn't really be easy to pick up and play really well near instantly.
It's good to have strong easy to play killers (like freddy) but for the absolute strongest, not so much.

Nurse is still way more difficult than Spirit so I really don't think it's gonna be the case. Spirit also still has very broken addons

About time. No more easy games for baby killers. Hopefully there is a bit more variety in the game now, instead of seeing her 24/7.

I doubt it, her pickrate dropped when they nerfed her most stupid Add Ons, but then players realized that she is still good.
Will be the same now, probably a Drop because of the Stridor-Change, but then players will pick her up again.

Well I’m still playing her a lot. She has always been and will continue to be my favorite killer regardless of any nerfs.

If you need a specific perk to play a killer, you probably shouldn't play them to begin with.
Spirit is still strong, hopefully she will just be a little less oppressive.

Replace Stridor with Bloodhound = profit.
If a survivor is running Iron Will + Lucky Break you're honestly better off dropping chase with them instead of wasting time trying to guess and find them but Bloodhound will make it very obvious if there are no blood puddles. I doubt EVERY survivor will run IW + LB in case of a Spirit every match. LB seems very rare to me these days tbh.
Spirit is still going to be S tier I really don't get this argument. Stridor is going to be useless though but it already kind of was except for on Spirit.

Bloodhound does nothing for spirit.
Blood already glows in the spirit world which is only visible if she's running Father's Glasses (an iri addon).

You have to run Father's Glasses for that effect though. Bloodhound will make blood glow while phasing without them so you can run stronger add ons.
Or one could run Father's glasses to free up a perk slot in place of Bloodhound. Either or works, I'm just saying that Bloodhound is a viable tracking perk on her that was never really considered due to Stridor.

Blood does not appear when spirit is phasing without the addon. Running Bloodhound does not change that.

Spirit can not see bloods when she is phasing. She needs Father add-on

It was pretty popular. Every single Spirit I went against used Stridor.

Most of the Spirits I go against have some assortment of meta perks like ruin and devour and the such. Plus, I made the mistake of prestiging my Spirit and now the bloodweb refuses to give me Stridor no matter how much damn money I throw at it.

Issue is, this doesn’t resolve the core issue with Spirit, if I don’t run iron will I will just get steamrolled unless I’m at a god pallet/window.

I swear that nerf did more for DS than what original DS did.
I know the original allowed you to get off the Killer's back instantly if you were the obsession, but the new one completely changes how Killers play the game just by the virtue of EXISTING.

She has it even harder because of running footsteps not doing any noise during phasing if using Iron Will. But it's not like a real loss. Spirit is a complete pain to deal with, let us have a patch or two without her.

Well thats because swf is op. Spirit is an easily accessable Killer with a strong Power, which is also able to handle OP-Tier Swf Teams. Nurse is also able to provide that but she is incredible hard to play, while a Survivor doesn't need as much Skill and nerves to play as a Nurse. So Killers would rather pick a Spirit instead of a Nurse. It's as simple as that.
Now that Spirit is out of the way, only SupaAlf can stop Op Tier Swfs. Just a little Joke, but swfs (which are not average in Skill) are a big Problem imo. Tbh i would 100% agree with those nerfs if swf didnt exist.
But now i guess they need to nerf Spirit a little more. -10% Movement speed while phasing, an animation when she's phasing and her Ring Addon should be removed. It will fix every Problem for Survivors, so they will have a blast when playing against her :^) /sarcasm off

Spirit has never needed stridor to do good. I’ve never used it and consistently 3-4k

Shouldn’t it be that way though? I was under the impression Spirit is supposed to have a comparatively high skill cap.
Those that are committed to getting better with Spirit will persist, and those being carried by Stridor will move onto another killer.
