some new heads that need to be fixed imo (pictures)
Here are some head cosmetics that need fixing that I found.
One thing that I have to say is that a lot of the cosmetics look way worse in low graphics (comparing with before the update).
algae hair Nea ( it doesn't have the black part anymore)
meg's face animations make her waaaay too angry
jeff looks way older now imo, I think is the lack of eyebrows + eyes too small
I like 95% of the head updates but some still need some work

Jane now stares into your soul, regardless of her head cosmetic.
This is the Anniversary Head. It should be gold-blonde btw.
His hair looks really wet/oily and like it is stuck to the head.
All on Ultra settings.

I'd like to mention Kate's rework as well. Her expression changed so much from her original. It doesn't fit her backstory or the devs stated goal to keep the reworks as close as possible to the originals.

Why are her nostrils flared, eyes narrowed, and eyebrows angled down. It changes her expression from her calm, slightly smiling demeanor, to various degrees of annoyed/angry.

I think the biggest change with Kate really is her makeup is less heavy that it used to be on those heads, which has a huge affect on the look, but her overall face model is very similar (just higher poly, which means the lines are smoother, which they should be).
The eyes probably have more detail now and the texture is larger meaning they're not as arresting. But the bottom two headshots you posted are clearly not very naturalistic, she is staring too hard almost like she's posessed.
Also her eyebrows are the same position and angle. It's all just the effect of the makeup.
I agree though that some of those heads (mostly the bottom two) should have heavier eye makeup to match the originals, since that was clearly part of the look that is now missing. Bottom left needs stronger blusher too.

If they were going to heavily change any of her heads, I would have been ok with the pigtails one tbh lol. But I'm more against setting a precedence of significantly altering cosmetics that were bought with real money.
I think her overall expression needs to be softened to look closer to the original, whether that's through makeup (textures), animations, etc. Her nose always being flared seems like a problem with the animation, as it looks fine in the still preview image they showed. You can also see how her eyes are narrowed in the rework, looking at the lower eyeline. The eyes seem like a texture issue, but could maybe be cleaned up on the animation side as well.

Wow, the top right is a massive objective downgrade, the makeup was so much better in the original
The default appearance as shown in Rogue's post above looks better, definite improvement, but so many of her cosmetics have been downgraded

Not only that. They opened her mouth so she's got rabbit's teeth now.
The looks more like the arrogant school ######### now.

Haven't got a before shot but one of the most random is the addition of streaky eyeliner to one of my favourite zarina heads
No on is talking about Nancy's close eyes and eye bags, so is this a known cosmetic bug?

Dude all of this I agree with. Nancy's eyes make me so sad. They're squeezed together like she's a barbie doll having her head squished :/

David's hair is still blonde. It's just that the lobby lighting adds a pale blue rimlight to survivors and the lighter texture absorbs it like a sponge, making it look silvery gray.
That being said however, his red hair now looks more like a strawberry blonde. It's a lot lighter than it used to be.
EDIT: I didn't mention it either, but his hand wraps are gone on the tank tops now. Not sure how I feel about it.

also zarinas greek legends headpiece went from my favorite to least favorite in one moment, they changed something with the eyes and it looks so weird

I also noticed some of the hair issues (like David's hair issue) depends on the graphics' quality. And you are totally right, that the red hair is almost blonde now. At least during the match.

The texture for this Zarina head was always meant to be this but they forgot to add.

It sucks. 😭 I can get it the same red shade as before if I angle him right in the lobby, but in the match, it's so light that it absorbs everything. On some maps, it's this muddy green color now because of how fine it is.

Fine, but that sucks because I only got it because I liked how it looked before and now I'm not going to use it.
You can see how that is still a problem right?
