Do you think it's possible to get Killer's and Survivor's that aren't from Earth?

So far, all the Killer's and Survivor's have been from Earth (Or at least, Dimensions tied to Earth in some way.)

So my question is, do you think we'll get Chapters from other planets/realms? People want Xenomorph and Dead Space, so clearly, people want characters from space, at the very least.

My question is more guided towards possible Fantasy-based chapters, though I think the chances of that happening are low. Some sort of monster from The Witcher? A chapter based on Dark Souls, or even an original chapter? Or do you think the Original characters are going to be limited to humans (or transformed humans, in the case of Blight and Oni.)?

I mean we did technically get Greek Monsters like The Minotaur as a Legendary Skin.

So I guess it's not out of the question?

But I don't know, I've never been a fan of the ideas for stuff like Xenomorph being added into the game. Demogorgon I can at least slide since Stranger Things kept up that slasher aesthetic. But full on sci-fi like Xenomorph? Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I really hope so!!! A space/ sci fi chapter is what I dream of. Either original characters or licensed.

I am no expert on the lore but the Entity sounds exactly like Pennywise. Eater of worlds, pure evil, yadda yadda yadda. It has made its way through the cosmos and has set its eyes on earth.

I don't see why having space creatures in the game would be lore breaking.

To be completely honest, considering the Alien franchise is now owned by Disney, I think the possibilities of it being a chapter have plummeted.

I think it'd certainly be interesting, but I'm curious as to how they would spin it. So far, all the Survivors have been from somewhat modern eras. If we're including licensed, the earliest would be the 1980's, I believe. Killers have been from all sorts of times, but so far, nothing from the future.

They could do it, but so many of the properties people want have killers that are too powerful and would feel super lame. The Xenomorph is a huge one, one of those things could tear through all of the survivors in seconds without any way for the survivors to stop it since they don't have giant guns. That's literally it's character design and why it's so scary.

I think it's pretty unlikely, characters like xenomorph have higher chances but aside from that I don't think so.

That seems to be a big issue with a large amount the licenses. According to what people said about Nemesis, he shouldn't be stunned by pallets-- And neither should a monster like Demogorgon or Oni.

As a big mass effect fan, im sure many other dbd players are, but an asari or turian would make for an interesting character.

I mean, it's possible. The lore has already established that the Entity Realm is pulling survivors from our world, alongside alternate versions of it too. We've already seen that there's been a Yui that was a killer, and the Observer has mentioned seeing survivors become killers over time as they lose sanity. So who's to say no at this point. The Entity may start pulling survivors and killers from other worlds or even planets.

I think they can do it easy! For a game that oozes fantasy/creativity they do not push limits enough imo.

I know this community gets up in arms about what 'fits into DBD' or 'what is horror'. Idk why a lot of people are so closed minded about this game. Its a game based on a cosmic timeless world eating entity that can create realities and rip anyone, from any time/realm, and plop it in its own realities. If anything there should be non-human or future human survivors and the fact we don't have them is very odd. You are telling me the Entity is like 'yes... only modern humans allowed. That is all I crave.'

Then again, bhvr added a kpop killer and people lost their damn minds... I can understand if we never see a futuristic/non-human survivor :<

I don't think they're interested in making non human looking survivors (I'm not sure what to count Cheryl/Alessa as).But for killers I don't see why not.
