Do you think Trickster was buffed or nerfed?
Weird question, and I'm obviously biased from not being able to play him any more, but Trickster feels so much easier to win against now.
I've had 9 games against him so far, some not-so-good players and some very good players, and he honestly feels less threatening now. It's pretty easy to break line of sight enough to get Laceration decaying on most tiles, especially with Trickster's slow speed, and all you have to do is be mindful of your position and not voluntarily go to a low wall tile or deadzone while in danger of Trickster getting line of sight on you. That, coupled with the fact he needs to reload incredibly often now, means he rarely downs me with knives, if ever. Old Trickster would likely get you eventually, new Trickster can be delayed and countered for eons.
But I will admit he is very fun to play against. Very engaging chases, where you have to think in a completely different way. Excited to go against him more!

Map dependent but mostly a buff. Some indoor maps make him very hard to play now

They made Trickster better at what he was already good at and worse at what he was already bad at. He's a lot weaker on most maps in general since very few maps in dbd are lacking LoS breakers.

I think he stayed the same in strength level so neither. As the comment above me says they buffed him in areas he was already strong and nerfed where he was already weak. There are ways to slightly counter his indirect nerfs with his add ons but it keeps him at the same strength level as before.

A buff. Very unhealthy buff, but a buff nonetheless.

Buff for PC, nerf for console.

I think the sheer amount of negatives attached to him resulted in a net neutral, which is not the point of a buff if a killer is underperforming. Devs, if you and content creators are that scared of Trickster being viable while keeping his current mechanics, rework him into being more similar to Huntress.

I don't know, he is still so weak killer. I faced with enough Trickster and i played enough as him. Nothing changed. He is still joke.

*laughs in thousands of hours put in Trickster*
But fr tho, as someone who one-tricks him it's definitely not a nerf but it's weird to call it a buff since now he's lacking in other ways. He performs relatively the same but rewards good Trickster players more.

Buffed for PC, nerfed for console.

Buffed. Less knives needed can only ever be a buff.

I feel he is buffed but now feels very clunky to play, I feel like I only have enough knives to down 1 survivor then injure another (only if I'm on my A-game). This attack speed nerf has done something with his aim because I am noticeably missing a lot more knives now.
Pros: He feels good in small loops and especially at windows/pallet vault.
Cons: This feeling of you're always out of ammo and you're now missing more knives than you should be.

I'm on console. Lowering the number of knives he can carry is a huge nerf considering how [BAD WORD]ing difficult it is to aim when playing as him. The faster laceration decay makes it even worse.

Neither. Trickster can down survivors so much faster now if he catches them in a bad spot, but he basically can't down somebody with knives if they're in a good position now.
He already kind of worked like that but now it is even more pronounced both ways.

Neither.
He’s still the ultimate archetype of a design that’s intended for PC, without any iota of consideration to make him accessible to console/controller players.

Personally think he got nerfed

Probably small buff on PC and big nerf on console. Classic!
