New map… why?
So the new chapter released and everyone was so up in arms cause the new map was disabled.
But everyone hated it anyway…..
And now that its back so many dc.
But honestly… why was everyone so mad?

It is a mix between people who really wanted to play and people upset by bugs. The map is awful in its current state but people still wanted to try it. Others used it as a major point to point out whenever talking about what a bad state the game was and is in.

I dont condone DCs but I agree the map is way too hard to play on.

I dont dc for any other map or killer. Just RCPD, its by far the worst map they’ve done and the opposite of fun. Especially for survivor.

I mean, I don't support DC'ing, but if someone brings the Killer to Haddonfield or RPD, I wouldn't blame them if they closed the game during the loading screen.

I don’t get the hate. I think I would love this map as both sides.
As survivor the maze of hallways keeps the terror radius scary, but there’s still tons of safety and the map is big enough you won’t be inside the terror radius the whole time. Balanced landing on this map sounds sooo good, along with most other stealth perks.
For killer, you get god tier totems and pretty chaotic chases with people randomly running into you. There’s definitely some really strong 3 gens you can do as well. Ruin Undying will probably stay up the entire match if the survivors don’t have totem perks.
Overall I think it will be great if you are offering it. Getting it with a random build could be really rough for killer though.

I have played on it like 5 times today and have yet to see someone running an infinite on me. By the time it’s common knowledge I bet it’s already nerfed.
Not to mention half my killer builds have bamboozle anyways, along with the map being big enough you can just abandon that area if it becomes a problem.
Does it justify it? No. But extremely survivor sided maps are nothing new.

Except the map is part of a contract with Capcom for Resident Evil to be in the game so the map will never be deleted or changed (unless permitted).

Visually the map is Outstanding and beautiful. But the layout it so confusing and there are so many tight corners. It’s almost impossible to find the stairs to get to a Gen upstairs. And it just sucks all together

When you get this map as a killer just explore it. The art team did a wonderful job the issue is the map balance but this is not their fault
