(not my video)

why can't overcharge do something like that.

I would like to see those skill checks implemented for my actions. They are pretty cool.

I wouldn’t be opposed to having this be on gens albeit slower. It would at least make it a bit more interesting

Now that's a real skill check. Not just a "seeing if you haven't fell asleep" check.
6 -
That's actually really interesting. They should implement that in actual gameplay.

Did I hear right?

That actually looks like fun and i need more of it in my life.

I already hated glyphs. Why not add more crap to them.
1 -
yes you did
1 -
well i would already like to find one to try it out.
've been running SB + Fixated + Vigil + Spine Chill, did the whole map twice and couldn't find it ahah

all generators like this! after which they admit us all to the asylum! ;)

Red - Nothing
Blue - Hmm add obvious
Yellow - Skill checks
They're learning and improving all the time. By the time we reach purple you'll be having to do push ups and stick the kettle on.
3 -
green glyphs: only appear if you are infected by plague or nemesis

I did one of these in a match against the Doctor. The skill checks moved around the screen.
I managed to do it, but goddamn I felt like I had a heart attack in the process.
2 -
I was expecting it to be like BnP with just two separate skill checks in a row
I was wrong

out of curiosity. do they respawn after you fail them?

This genuinely seems really cool- if they're doing skillchecks for wiggling I hope this is what they do.
My thought for a change to skillchecks was to use 4 different buttons/keys and randomise which one shows up but honestly if this was slower I wouldn't mind it being like this for everything- say like 3 seconds of this and then at least 7 seconds of downtime (randomised ofc)

Yes

Well both interactions with the first two ended up with a hatchet in the side.
2 -
Holy ######### that's actually really cool.

I activated two yellow glyphs while in chase with the killer because I'm me and after I got hit and downed I went back and the glyph wasn't there so maybe it moves, but I completed the challenge and can't fiddle with it anymore.

Those skill checks were actually fun! I hope we get more like those!

Yeah, the Yellow Glyph moves. I failed the first skill check on my second Glyph match and thankfully it didn't move too far away, I was able to find and complete it.
I wish DbD had a little aside Tome with some small challenges (the Glyphs and the Canker) that could be selected and done for a few extra Bloodpoints without ever "completing" and becoming disabled. Because yeah, I'd like more chances to mess around with the Yellow Glyph.
I actually have one Red Glyph challenge and one Visceral Canker challenge from previous tomes that I've never finished just so I can select them and have them spawn in matches.

I agree. Especially if it were either a series of Unnerving skill checks or Overcharge style skill checks.
2 -
The thing is it can’t be this rapid on gens because there needs to be periods where survivors can focus on situational awareness.
Or do you mean these “bursts” should appear at the current rate of RNG?
2 -
that would probably be a bit too hard for new players
1 -
They could potentially change the perk unnerving presence to give those types of skill checks then the regular one

Yes

even a skill test like the yellow glyph to hang survivors on the hook! it would be a great challenge!

I really hope they implement this elsewhere. THIS is a skillcheck. Pressing spacebar a single time on the worlds biggest margin is not very skillful, it just adds a small layer of entertainment to holding m1.

maybe they could add them to generators but have a different warning sound than the normal skill checks along with reverse skill checks that would make gens more engaging
